So before I start installing sc2, extracting all the sounds with my supercool total commander with .mpq and all those pack extention plugins, select each sound i want to replace manually and rename them .. create the appropriate folders with the changed names and bla bla bla .. I wanted to ask if someone else has already uploaded everything somewhere so I can just copy it in my game folder.

Searching on TL was futile because everyone wants the opposite (BW sounds into sc2). Why I want sc2 sounds in BW.. because they are higher quality.. 12 years of evolution in computer technology did in fact set the standard for game audio higher so yeah .. help please.

have you considered seeing a doctor for your hearing problem / awful taste?

there must be a good explanation for this right? maybe this guy had an accident as a child which caused him to lose his hearing. clearly this accounts for his lack of taste.

surely i dont have to explain the supreme awesomeness of bw sound effects. surely this is self evident. surely only a crazy person would prefer sc2 sounds to bw sounds.

Oh come on it's completely obvious that he just doesn't want to be terrified by half a dozen zerglings banging on his front door or a single siege tank one-shotting his probes or zealots shouting their battle cries as they vanish courageously charge into minefields.

Hell if I played SC2 first I'd probably be scared that the units sound so much stronger too.

I am a lawn mowing enthusiast for ultralisks as well, but I'm still waiting for the day ultras spawn just saying "moo."

and when they fight, they call be all "Mooo!"

and when you click faster to make them move/attack faster (you can spam like you can with scvs), they can be all like "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

that'd be my day.

maybe im just too used to bw sounds from having grown up with them, but honestly sound was the #1 reason I stopped playing sc2.

Keep in mind you'd have to convert them all to .wav format between extracting and inserting. That'd be an awful painful process.

I don't think you're legally allowed to play the game if you replace the bw zealot sounds with the sounds of sc2 pansylots, the muta glaive bounces with sc2's muta bounces that sound like white noise from my TV, and the siege tanks, oh the siege tanks /sigh

Yeah, I agree the adviser voice could be changed though I'd personally change it so every time I get supply blocked it'd just be smix singing torn.

I think people just love jumping on the trollwagon whenever someone implies SC2 is in some way, no matter how miniscule, better than BW. He prefers the sounds, so just help him instead of taking the piss. D:
