Why do flat chested woman wear bras? According to Wikipedia the bra an "undergarment that covers, supports, and elevates the breasts."

If you have practically no breasts, what is there that is needed to "support and elevate"? I get that you still want to "cover" them but wouldn't a shirt just be perfectly fine like the males?

Is it for cultural reasons? Want to fit in with other females? Is it to make them look bigger?

PS. No troll, I've been arguing this with many female friends of mine and wanted 2nd/other opinions.

I work out a good amount, enough so that a lot of up and down bounces my pecks and its fucking annoying. It doesn't feel good, its strange and unsettling and I shift my form to avoid it when I run/jump/whatever. Now if I was a girl with practically no breasts, I'd probably have a little more than I have now and instead of muscle jiggly fat so I'd say the reason is probably because even with next to nothing, its more comfortable to wear a bra than not wear one.

The bra probably at least prevents their nipples from poking out through the shirts. And it probably makes the boobs look slightly bigger?

If you have small breasts, support and elevation are still important. They help them look better/bigger in many cases.

So I dated a girl once, a beautiful smart blond girl who was so very flat chested, and most of the time, no, she did not wear a bra at all. Occasionally she would wear a sports bra, but that was rare.

I also dated another girl once that had rather small breasts as well, but she wore a sports bra most of the time, occasionally without.

I think it all depends on the girl and what makes her comfortable. Some girls will small breasts may wear them just because they like the feel or to lessen their nipples poking through their shirts or whatever. It all depends.

Men get penis pumps even though it doesn't work. Why? Because they heard that having bigger primary sexual characteristics makes them more attractive. Same goes for female secondary sexual characteristics.

Bigger breasts are perveiced to be more attractive, no reason to be like "I don't care!" as a girl. =P

Bras are too mask their nipples from revealing their shape on shirt and 2. because it provides support regardless if they're not flip or flopping.

This level of ignorance made me laugh. I will leave it up to your "female friends" to explain.

In regards to the OP from what Ive been told by flat/very small friends is that a) it covers up their nipples if they get hard in a shirt because flat or not their nipples are larger than mens and quite noticeable in certain outfits and b) it provides a bit more chest to their outfit which obviously many flat chested women are self conscious about.

Overall Im sure youve already been told these things but your writing a silly blog about it because you didn't believe what you were told.

Here's the thing I don't get. If you're not married you wouldn't wear a ring, if you're not cold you wouldn't wear a jacket. If you don't have internet, why try and open an internet browser. If you have no breasts why would you wear a bra....
