Lets just say that not only does pineapple not freeze well, but I'm pretty sure it was rotten before they froze it. So not only did the pineapple taste like shit, but when it de-thawed in the oven all the juices seeped all over the WHOLE PIZZA so I couldn't even remove the pineapple bits and get on with eating it. Such a waste of money. But buying a bad pizza once isn't enough for buyers remorse, since I knew there would be some associated risk going with the cheap brand. The buyers remorse was from purchasing a second one a week later. Sigh... Before I even put it in the oven I knew it was a bad choice, but it just looked so damn good on the box when I purchased it. I really only spend money on booze, food, rent and video games. Hard to feel buyers remorse about any of those things as long as you use a game review site for the video games.

Regarding the Skype/apps thing, I know the chrome webapps store isn't that good yet, but can't you use something like this for what you want. Also, doesn't Skype have a webpage through which you can use it. I know you can run things like MSN and Gtalk through a specific webpage. With that said, I've always assumed chromebooks are more intended for enterprise users. The primary saving is that tech support is never needed (which, if you work for a company, you know is a major thing). However, if you are knowledgeable enough to know what a chromebook is, you are also probably knowledgeable enough to do 99% of tech support on your own :p EDIT: Just to add, the Chrome Webapp store has a desktop version of Angry Birds! That should make all buyer's remorse disappear! Yeah, a Chromebook isn't an Android device; I've found that trying to explain what Chrome OS is to people confuses them, whereas if I tell them to think of it as a big Android they seem to get it better. I'm hoping more apps will be released so that Chromebooks have a little more functionality than merely a web based Google device. Now I heavily look into anything that I'm going to purchase, be it a mouse or an apartment. Yeah, I actually sometimes take way too long now to decide on what should be simple purchases. I tend to do a lot of research before I buy things, as I'm always seeking out what is the very best, and I'm also a cheap bastard. edit: And as a side note, I totally don't really 'get' these newer-aged gadgets that cost as much as a laptop and do far less. Can someone help me grasp the appeal of things like Chromebooks, Ipads, E-PC's, and the like? Why would anyone want something as expensive as a laptop with a tenth of the functionality? Is it really simply a portability thing? I guess I just personally have no qualms about carrying a laptop around with me. I admit I bought my Chromebook mostly because I'm a Google fan boy. I've had my Gmail account since it was invite only, I got an Android the first moment I could realistically afford it, and I use Google's apps and products over their competitors' almost exclusively. The Chromebook itself is so light, small, and easy to use that while it doesn't have the functionality that an actual notebook or netbook would have, it has advantages over those devices, too. Everything else it does worse than a general device. Still worth the price for me. ^^ My Kindle is one of the few impulse purchases I'e made where I was more impressed than I had expected. I preordered the most recent Kindle and it was worth every penny. On June 29 2011 22:19 JingleHell wrote: Here was me expecting a witty girl blog involving one of the gifts that keeps on giving... Holy crap it flopped so hard and became the most worthless thing I have ever bought. Since then I have always tried to make sure I would not regret another purchase. Oh god, that game was such an abysmal failure on so many levels...
