Hello guys! So I have began my third let's play to date, Doom 3.
I always wanted to play the game but the computer I used to have was really bad, I had trouble running even Half Life 2 and I never really got the opportunity to try it out. Now, with this new decent computer, I can run most games without any trouble and I said to myself that one of the first things that I was doing once I buy a new pc was to play that game.
Anyway without further to do:

Also, any feedback will be greatly appreciated! and if somebody know's how to take out that static noise in the background + the key noises that are kind of distracting, please feel free to tell me how.

Not that much, for now I've mostly been stressed out trying to predict when I'm gonna get Jump-Scared :|

It scares me too, really silly when people who DON'T find it scary tell you that it ISN'T scary, as if it was some sort of fact.

Well if they mean too scared to sleep afterwards then ok but if you play the game with lights off and sound high you will be scared for sure. btw the part where the creepy woman is crying for her baby is pretty damn scary.

You should try Amnesia: The Dark Descent *wink*

Be careful with the spoilers! I must experience that without knowing when will it pop up

The mother with the baby crying was pretty scary. Even thought I've played past that many times; it still freaks me out.

You don't play-list your LPs? D:

I thought Doom 3 was quite scary, one of my favorite games ever for sure. Must be played with the lights out and surround sound. The sound design is sooooo good. You have to kind of "let" yourself be scared but for me that is everything fiction. I would recommend playing through at a slower pace, if you look at what happened in all of the levels and listen to all of the audio logs it really adds to the game. I also recommend not trying to get rid of the background noise, it will grow as you get farther into the game and really is important for the overall feel.

I don't watch horror movies/tv at all, so I'm not really exposed to this kinda stuff but I never find those games(Doom, Dead Space...haven't played much more of that genre, I think) scary and I played them with lights off etc. So my guess is that you are just some little, whiney girls
