This might be a little gross..
I woke up this morning and the inside of my left ear was really itchy. If there was a mathematical formula to describe the feeling, I would say its itchiness + insanity X infinity. I have had itchy ear before, but I usually just stab inside my ear with a Q-tip, and that solves it, but NOT TODAY.
I tried moistening the end of a q-tip with hot water and let it sit in my ear for a minute, and started swabbing and poking around in there, and when I withdrew the Q-tip, there was pieces of a dead insect...
I believe I have gotten most, if not all, of the insect out of my ear. The itchiness has subsided. I think I am going to start sleeping with earplugs because holy shit.

damn...
I remember like 5 years ago I was playing a game of bw and my brothers were doing something behind me. I saw something black fly infront of me for a split second and then I felt a sharp pain in my eye. Thinking it was one of my brothers that had thrown something and it had hit me I yelled "WTF you fucking idiots you just hit me in the eye!"
They didn't know what I was talking about... and then the pain started to get worse. I went to the mirror thinking whatever they had thrown had gotten under my eyelid, but it was hurting so much by that point my eyes were watering like crazy and I couldn't see. I ended up just trying to push it out with my fingers. After a couple minutes the pain subsided a bit and I was able to look in the mirror... and I pushed out a dead fly O.o
One of the most painful things I've had happen to me.

Geez guys, let's make a pact right now to never post something like this again..

oh wow ^^ I heard that on average you eat about 80 Insects in your whole life while you sleep, but not that they also die in your ear xD

It is highley unlikely you will die if it did.
You would be surpised how many bugs you inhale while sleeping. [edit] Brood beat me to it.

Creepy!
It reminds me of a story that was in the news a while ago. A little kid was complaining to his mom for a few days that he had ear pains, after which she decided to take him to a doctor. When the doctor looked inside he discovered a big spider + a nest full of spider eggs. That had me paranoid for a week whenever I felt a little itch anywhere.

I remember this also hppn to many when I was a litle kid Lucky for me ... because the only thing I was thinking was "thats intersting"

Brood, please fix that pic! I cried laughing and I'm not even getting to see it all, lol. I want to has that.
edit: nm, image saves just fine. thanks

Fellow mouth breather here. I've tried falling sleeping while consciously keeping my mouth closed for that exact reason - I still fail hard at it : (

Lucky for you you weren't awake when it happened. When I was young I got an ant rampaging inside my ear before. Hurt so much it made me cry.

Did you pull anything out that you can identify? Wonder what type of bug it was..

(itchiness + insanity) x infinity? EDIT: hmm, on further consideration, itchiness + insanity x infinity also makes sense. So be it.
If the simple math thread has taught us anything, it's to remember our BEDMAS/PEDMAS. And that is nasty, lol, I hope everything gets cleared out of there in the end.
