I asked an exercise question HERE Anybody who is willing to answer it would be appreciated.
So, a real quick blog before I sleep >.>
1) Finally my mom layed out what I have to do to get a drivers license.
Evidently I have to drive 2 hours a week, for a month. Then I can take the test.
)
Unfortunately she put a huge IF in that as in "If you are trustworthy"
not being trustworthy can be anything from blatantly lieing, to forgetting to tell her I have something after school
2) gaargh, I'm so stupid. And time flies But I did learn some things.
So yesterday I took a practice AP Chemistry test, and got a 5. Woot. So today I studied calc and US for an hour each, worked in the yard for two hours, worked on the car for an hour, ordered some computer parts for my mom for two hours. And then laddered for like 4
So right now I feel really behind. Super procrastination... I have an APUS test, a long English reading, and some calculus homework to do. I'll do it in the morning. (School starts at 9:30 on mondays), but wow, did I procrastinate.
But I have learned some things.
1) I am clueless in tvz. I can only win with 6 rax all in and reactor hellion --> cloaked banshee. Once the game gets past like 15 minutes I'm screwed.
2) I'm really good at tvt >.>
3) LZ's really strange three factory tvp build is really strong. I only lost once, and it's because a guy had a hidden third >.>
And I'm a wimp. Still haven't done anything about prom. And it's so close >.>
I suck with girls.

Prom: Dress up. Boot up Computer. Pour yourself an ice cold Dr. Pepper.
LAN party in formal clothing. Nothing better.

This sounds so epic.
|
Dude ask your friends to ask some friends if they would go with you, see which girls said yes, then pick the best of the few. Hurry before they run out!!!
|

Anyways, I ended up being too lazy to find a date to prom. However, I eventually danced with three different girls and won an iHome at the afterparty, so I guess that made up for my laziness.
|
If you don't get a girl before the prom, do not fear, for it's much more likely you will find one at the after-party. (EDIT: with a small smirk and raised eyebrows)
If you have friends who are girls, if you just nonchalantly slip the question into a conversation, you can get away with an easy yes. Gets a bit harder when you aren't as good friends, then it's just straight up balls. I guess you can strike up a convo and go the indirect route for that as well, but it will probably feel less organic than it would with a friend.

1. I don't know how much I can repeat this, but your mother sounds crazy. 2. Why are you still trying in school? My senior year I took six APs and not a single test. lulz. 3. Have fun at prom ._.
|
I manned up and asked a girl.
And she's like... "ok"
You should do the same, worse thing you can get is a "no".
|
You can post your link with this since it links straight to you comment and saves all of 0.5 seconds :D
Also, where did you take your practice test? :O I think I need to take some for French/Euro...
And just go ask!! Worst thing that can happen is, as people have said, "no"~
Good luck on your license!!

And I got invited to NHS, which is a good thing ^^

I had maybe a couple of hours of experience at most when I passed my drivers license test. Really, they are just checking to make sure you know how to not run a red light and that you know how to park without hitting other cars. That being said, good for your mom for not wanting you free on the road without some experience. There's enough bad drivers out there.

The worst thing that could happen is that you get a blank stare of absolute surprise followed by an explosion of laughter.
|
The worst that could happen is she could cut your dick off and throw it out the window... But that hardly ever happens.

It would explain a lot, actually.

Hey, whatsup. I really like your blog. Are you taking the AP calc test in may? I am.....super nervous.....I'm self studying and i'm not sure i've practiced enough w/ rotated solids about anything but the x axis. Sounds tough dealing with such crazy parents. GOOD LUCK!
|
Haha, I am too.
And I too am clueless with rotating around a not axis tt
|
Got back from counselor. Said I have too much anxiety
|
What's a not axis? :o
BTW this is just imho, but don't take your counselor's word at face value, as it's my opinion that our counselors' goal is merely to get each and every student to pass classes/CAHSEE and get a decent STAR test score...nothing more -___- A lot of them are ridiculously laid back, not to mention condescending.

Like. Mental counselor,.
This lady has a PhD and went to Penn State/Berkeley.
Not quite a slouch.
Not axis is not about x or y axis.
You'll learn to hate it next year.

Oh I forgot you have one and thought you meant our school counselors >< Your counselor is a beast :D
Also, do you cover AB in the first semester of BC, or the first quarter of BC? Just wondering~
|
If you try to do BC next year I'll shoot you.
and you don't cover all of AB in BC.
some of it is just flat out assumed.

All of the basic integration and derivation rules. Aka the basis.
Ron is super smart, and had a shitton of trouble.

Do I know Ron?
Mrs. Dillman told me that it should be enough to go through the first 5 chapters of the BC book (as long as I REALLY understand it inside and out) :o
edit: random typo o_o
|
true. But to understand that without assistance will be insane >.>
|
Yeah I think I will have to get some assistance...but won't have time to actually take an AB class I don't think T_T
|
Man, I still remember my first times driving, was pretty nerve racking. I killed myself learning everything when my drivers test consisted of just going around the block and having like 15 feet to parallel park....it was a complete joke. GL with it though.
Luckily my TvZ has gotten better since I have been offracing with Zerg for a bit now. I have a much better feel for when zergs are most vulnerable and their timings etc. It has helped me a ton. Might wanna just try offracing with zerg a bit and pick apart the builds/find timings where zergs are most exposed etc.

Wait, I always thought NHS was never relevant since its standards are so lax? My school literally had hundreds of people in it. It didn't do anything except carnations every spring.

LOL
Our school is a bit more selective in regard to NHS, I think. I heard it's an automatic rejection if you don't have volunteer and leadership and good academics afaik? Either way, it can't hurt :D
|
Just ask a girl, i know its flaunting and seems at the time ridiculous hard, but its worth it. You can always go with a female friend? I happened to go to my prom with a good female friend, well things progressed and 4 years later we are still together.

I lol'd. In finland we have to drive for about an hour around the city, and if you make one mistake you instantly fail and have to take X amount of lessons before you can try again. Of course the lessons and retry aren't free.
|
NHS is vaguely selectiveish.
Still applying, but it's only like 35/600
|
Drop everything and go allin on AP Chemistry.
~~ Chemical Engineer, took AP Chem for 3 months starting in January, 5 on the test. Nothing's more rewarding, nothing!
|
So... I don't know too much about foreign Chemistry courses, so I won't comment too much...
but...
Just fuckin' ask her!
|
Haha, a month later. I ended up having major medical shit which prevented me from going (well, it's an easy out but it sucked badly)
|
Prom is overrated, trust me. Be glad that you missed it. I left mine early. At least you're not a girl and you don't have to spend like, $500+ or some ridiculous crapload of money like that.
And it's better to not go at all then to go with someone random and have an incredibly awkward night. (Not like I'm speaking from experience or anything like that.) And if I read correctly, you're a junior and you still have your senior prom? At least you can go to that one!
Edit: Woaaaaah totally thought today was the 20th. Obviously not. *Bad at dates & times*
