This post obviously contains GSL Code A Finals. If you haven't watched all games and care about, don't continue reading.

The final four are decided, battling out glory, money and picks for the up and down matches. Who will prevail?

Code A Final Recap and Prediction Analysis

+ Show Spoiler +

My predictions in parenthesis
(Z)Losira 4-3 (T)SuperNoVa (4-3)

For sure a worthy Code A final. Awesome game, awesome performance, a comeback, and the overall better player won the games. I recommend every single map.
Losira held solid pushes from SuperNova over and over and over again with the exact right amount of units, and SuperNova displayed wonderful macro-oriented patient terran style, a player to look out for.

Set 1: (Z)Losira < Crevasse > (T)SuperNoVa (Losira)
Set 2: (Z)Losira < Xel'Naga Caverns > (T)SuperNoVa (SuperNova)
Set 3: (Z)Losira < Crossfire SE > (T)SuperNoVa (SuperNova)
Set 4: (Z)Losira < Metalopolis > (T)SuperNoVa (SuperNova)
Set 5: (Z)Losira < Tal'Darim Altar > (T)SuperNoVa (Losira)
Set 6: (Z)Losira < Terminus RE > (T)SuperNoVa (Losira)
Set 7: (Z)Losira < Crevasse > (T)SuperNoVa (Losira)

Up and Down predictions

+ Show Spoiler +

+ Show Spoiler [Group A] +

Group A
I think HuK will practice like a madman, but I fear it is not enough. Inca and choya are both really strong PvP, and I don't think HuK has yet what it takes to get into Code S in a PvP only group this season. Bad luck for our fellow canadian.

(P)HuK < Shakuras Plateau > (P)InCa
(P)HuK < Tal'Darim Altar > (P)InCa
(P)HuK < Crevasse > (P)InCa

(P)HuK < Terminus RE > (P)Choya
(P)HuK < Scrap Station > (P)Choya
(P)HuK < Xel'Naga Caverns > (P)Choya

+ Show Spoiler [Group B] +

Group B
The Group of death. And a week ago I would have called Nestea dead because of Leenocks ZvZ, because, lets be honest, MarineKind will slaughter whatever is left over of the losing Zerg.
But Losira showed Leenock is vincible, and NesTea will study those games very carefully and pull it off.

(Z)Leenock < Xel'Naga Caverns > (Z)NesTea
(Z)Leenock < Crossfire SE > (Z)NesTea
(Z)Leenock < Metalopolis > (Z)NesTea

(Z)Leenock < Tal'Darim Altar > (T)MarineKing
(Z)Leenock < Xel'Naga Caverns > (T)MarineKing
(Z)Leenock < Scrap Station > (T)MarineKing

+ Show Spoiler [Group C] +

Group C
This is another insane group. IEM Champion Ace waiting for the loser, so both will do everything to not lose.
Fruitdealer will win the first match very close, and Ace will pick up the rest of what is left over from Virus, but again in a three mapper.

(T)Virus < Xel'Naga Caverns > (Z)FruitDealer
(T)Virus < Crevasse > (Z)FruitDealer
(T)Virus < Tal'Darim Altar > (Z)FruitDealer

(T)Virus < Terminus RE > (P)Ace
(T)Virus < Scrap Station > (P)Ace
(T)Virus < Metalopolis > (P)Ace

+ Show Spoiler [Group D] +

Group D
Boxer could have gotten it worse, but it will still be a tough journey.
I think Zenio is slightly better than SangHo, and SangHo almost lost to MMA, so Boxer has enough information to take him down.

(P)SangHo < Metalopolis > (Z)Zenio
(P)SangHo < Crossfire SE > (Z)Zenio
(P)SangHo < Tal'Darim Altar > (Z)Zenio

(P)SangHo < Terminus RE > (T)SlayerSBoxeR
(P)SangHo < Shakuras Plateau > (T)SlayerSBoxeR
(P)SangHo < Xel'Naga Caverns > (T)SlayerSBoxeR

+ Show Spoiler [Group E] +

Group E
This group is packed with crazy players aswell. Alicia performed a stunning run in Code A, MVP doesn't need introduction, and Genius is the BlizzCon champion.
Alicia will give MVP a tough fight, but still lose inevitably, and then sadly he gets Genius, who is quite good at PvP, this will go to Genius after 3 maps.

(P)Alicia < Xel'Naga Caverns > (T)MVP
(P)Alicia < Tal'Darim Altar > (T)MVP
(P)Alicia < Metalopolis > (T)MVP

(P)Alicia < Tal'Darim Altar > (P)Genius
(P)Alicia < Shakuras Plateau > (P)Genius
(P)Alicia < Xel'Naga Caverns > (P)Genius

+ Show Spoiler [Group F] +

Group F
Look at Group B, C D, and then look at this. Nevertheless, Hyperdub will go down, the other two are just better than him.

(T)Rain < Scrap Station > (T)TOP
(T)Rain < Xel'Naga Caverns > (T)TOP
(T)Rain < Crevasse > (T)TOP

(T)Rain < Terminus RE > (T)Hyperdub
(T)Rain < Shakuras Plateau > (T)Hyperdub
(T)Rain < Crossfire SE > (T)Hyperdub

+ Show Spoiler [Group G] +

Group G
Another all Terran group, and here, I see Polt dropping out. SuperNova knew why to pick him for a reason, TheBest will claim the second spot.

(T)SuperNoVa < Tal'Darim Altar > (T)Polt
(T)SuperNoVa < Crossfire SE > (T)Polt
(T)SuperNoVa < Shakuras Plateau > (T)Polt

(T)Polt < Scrap Station > (T)TheBest
(T)Polt < Shakuras Plateau > (T)TheBest
(T)Polt < Crevasse > (T)TheBest

+ Show Spoiler [Group H] +

Group H
Kind of surprising choice by banbans, but after this performance, I think Losira will be confident enough to take down Game 1 with ease, and Rainbow will lose to banbans aswell in the end.

(Z)Losira < Crossfire SE > (P)Banbanssu
(Z)Losira < Shakuras Plateau > (P)Banbanssu
(Z)Losira < Xel'Naga Caverns > (P)Banbanssu

(P)Banbanssu < Metalopolis > (T)RainBOw
(P)Banbanssu < Shakuras Plateau > (T)RainBOw
(P)Banbanssu < Tal'Darim Altar > (T)RainBOw

Summary

+ Show Spoiler +

Finals - score:
1 games of 1 correct, even with scores (flawless victory!)
3 maps correct.

Up and Down - predictions:
Group A: (P)HuK , (P)InCa, (P)Choya
Group B: (Z)Leenock , (Z)NesTea, (T)MarineKing

Group F: (T)Rain, (T)TOP, (T)Hyperdub
Group G: (T)SuperNoVa, (T)Polt , (T)TheBest
Group H: (Z)Losira, (P)Banbanssu, (T)RainBOw

If HuK's practice works as well for his PvP as it did for his PvZ, he definitely has a shot. Choya can do some stupid stuff sometimes, so I think HuK will pull ahead of choya.

Group A seem's about right, I've never seen Huk's pvp tbqh, I have seen Choya and Inca's and tbh, huk has no chance.

Group B: Firstly, Leenock will not take a single set off Nestea, that is unheard of and unjustified, have you seen Nestea's z v z? Practically unbeatable. As for marineking prime, he should be able to stop Leenock.

Group C: my god, if fruitdealer doesn't play standard i'm going to rip my eye balls out. His standard z v t play is second to none, one of the best, if not the best z v t out there. This can easily be seen in season 1, and his first game against SCfou in the updown matches last season (damn 2 rax). However, as we all know, fruit is know for his, to put it lightly, fucked up play style/strategy at times which is the downfall of his play. Lets all hope he plays like the fruit we love and know, and crush through virus.

Now, if he does not win, I don't see him beating ACE, it could be done, but his inability to play standard in z v p grinds my gears, and will let him down.

Ace on the other hand; If Fruit does beat Virus and then must play Ace, Ace will crush through.

Group D: Agreed 100%, Zenio and JookTo are tight, with jookTo unfortunately getting beat by sangho in a close series, Zenio will have studied sangho relentlessly and should be able to crush through. As for boxer, I just don't know, I want to say I see him beating SangHo/Zenio but I really can't, I hope he does though. Boxer in code A just ain't right.

Group E: Agreed

Group F: Agreed on the first series, second series I'm not so sure, Rain's T v T isn't that great, but neither is Hyperdubs, we will have to see, I can see rain pulling through in this one.

Group G: Agreed first series, second series, if Polt doesn't win, he should gtfo back to university.

Group H: Losira to roll everyone, Rainbow to make an epic comeback and crush through.

i've seen huk face choya on ladder like 4 times, and of those times he's only lost once. so i don't agree with huk having no chance.
