i hit 140+wpm before on this (or 760 cpm which is probably a better measure tbh), usually average around 130 but i really hate this website because of the delay. everyone could probably score like 10wpm higher if they showed the words in advance.. i'm sure a lot of people have my experience of type-type-type-pause-type-type-type-pause etc quite annoying  not the best website for this imo, although it is nice that the most common words are used. Shame not sentences either >.< | ||

damn thanks for the link... my best was 553 pts... so i think top 10 or so. but god damn there are some blazing fast typers on this site for sure. :D Locked, if ur out there, u should use camtasia and record/upload u doing this test. it would be like poetry in motion. same goes for exalted too :p | ||

One typeracer I hit 161 once and put me at the top of the leaderboard. T_T EDIT: I usually don't make that many mistakes either <_< EDIT2: I'm also usually faster on tests that involve sentences or blocks of text. It makes much more sense in my head and I don't have to do this whole "type for a while then pause for the next screen to load" business. | ||

Peekay thanks me too, it's called "Strobe" by deadmau5 recommend listening to it the whole way through all 10 minutes. lights off preferable. lol | ||

Edit: Mmm, 112 wpm, 647 cpm on my second try. Spent less time on those pauses. I still prefer complete sentences, though. Also, how many of you above 120 wpm or like 700 cpm use Dvorak? I'm considering switching, but I don't know how much it'll help. | ||
