Hello TL!
So, as the title says, I'm asking for a beta key for my friend. This is not what it looks like. I'm not just begging for nothing.
I can start by explaining that I've (more or less) got a total of 8 friends to play Starcraft II.
If you don't believe me, these are their nicknames in SC2:
Antagonist.moståndaren
Saginoro.saginoro
Ascendix.chidori
Ftaang.ftaang
Oromis.com
Escapist.moonboom
BullGoran.theman
And the last one just got the key two days ago and he hasn't accepted my friend request (Real ID) yet so I don't know his nickname.
As I said, I'm the one who got them to play, and I'm not the one who got all the keys. Most of them though, was received thanks to effort/pure luck, such as the TL beta key roulette and even contacting people on various websites (not TL) for a beta key. It is also worth mentioning that the key I got for my brother (Oromis) was because of me constantly F5ing a beta key thread on TL until a random guy decided to post an unused beta key. So I quickly logged in to my brother's account and added the key!
Just to clarify, I haven't got a single beta key from Blizzard (opt-in and friend invite). I got all of my own beta keys thanks to myself.
But that's enough story about how I got my keys! Now to the business!
I am simply asking for another beta key for my 9th friend who really wants to play SC2! He did play SC:BW a long time ago (he think it's the best game ever made), so now he finally decided to play SC2. So please, fellow TL members, if someone has a spare beta key, I would appreciate if you PMd me it! 
And I know I can just preorder the game somewhere but as none of us can be arsed getting to the closest game store, (which is very far for me at least) I'm just asking for a key here, on my favourite website ever <3

Read it all, I did not GET all the keys. But I did CONVINCE them to play. Many of these keys were friend invites and such, which I didn't get. For you information I haven't got a single key from Blizzard yet. MY beta keys were thanks to my own effort.

I did tell him, but I figured it would be worth trying here if his game store doesn't give away beta keys (no, we don't live in the same city).

Just preorder on webhallen. You will get your key in about 1-3hours.

I would love to get a beta key too 
I failed dozens of contests/drawings and I just gave up. Before anyone asks, i can't get the preorder key. I'll just have to wait til someone copy/pastes a key here so i can scramble and copypasta it in my bnet account

I've seen many similar threads so that's actually why I decided to make one myself and put it in Blogs.

Yeah, and as far as i know those who beg for keys gets banned. You already have lots of friends with keys so i bet theres people out there who also wants/deserves keys more.

Wait if you preorder the game you get two beta keys?? If i knew that i wold have done it ages ago..
I stopped playing wc3 on the 24th march 2010 so i could start playing sc:BW to practice for sc2.
With that said ive begged/pleaded for TL and/or blizzard to give me a key yet i am still waiting.
And now you looking for your 9th key? lol i dont find that fair at all neither do i find it fair how many people have smurf accounts while so many people are waiting for a single beta key.
Sc2 beta should allow anyone to play online (no key required) in order to really advertise the game and once SC2 is released only those that have keys (from purchasing the game) should then be allowed to play online.
I might be wrong but thats my opinion and that will then benifit everyone.

You have 8 keys and no one can share with the guy?
Seems that'd be the better option than letting a more experience player miss out on a key who might better contribute to the entire idea of a beta

This doesn't look too good when a lot of people on TL don't even have keys themselves and are in places where its not available.

I bet your 8 friends don't even play that often. I gave some keys to my friends and wow.. was i disappointed
Played on the day they were given the keys and never to see to see them again. Except for my korean friend, we got to platinum rank1 on 2v2.
Anyways, my point is, don't beg for keys you want to give to your "convinced" friends. Because anyone that needs convincing to play SC2 won't play it much (or at all after the first day).

Don't take my use of the word "convinced" litterally. It's not like they didn't even know about SC2 before I told them to play
To the rest who has nothing good to say at all:
I don't see a problem in the way I asked for a beta key so you guys who think this is stupid, simply don't post and don't even care. It was a message to those who just happen to have some extra keys and could spare one. This is not a question of how much I (or my friend) deserves it or not, it's just letting people know that I could use an extra key.
If a mod thinks this is totally wrong, then let them tell me. I don't think they need you to help them with their job. Thanks, GG.
Did you actually do it? If so, I think you deserve a key more than anyone here...

Yeah, they sure do. I assume you're referring to me. Again, I haven't got a single key from Blizzard yet. Wouldn't call that lucky.
