Maybe you should read original post as to why they defeatured everyone?
I did read the original post, do you actually think I would post here without reading it through?
Overall, iNkA's had lots of viewers stream on his site except for, I believe, August when he had to move.
Well, yeah. Considering it looks like Inka just told his twitter followers to spam this thread to help him get re-featured. And his fans are just posting "Get iNka featured again" without providing any arguments as to why. Sort of implying TL made a dumb decision given they removed him possibly any of the following reasons or all of it.
1. High skill level / tournament results 2. High average viewer count 3. Notability / contribution 4. Activity
The fact that my twitter followers care enough to post on this thread to support my streaming says something in itself. As far as high skill level and tournament results, i compete in the highest skill level outsider of korea and have many good tournament results. i have been one round away from championship bracket in MLG for the past 3 MLGs. It's not my fault their tournament system is flawed. They based my viewer count from 2 months in which i was inactive. I don't know what you're problem is or why you're so active on this thread. I don't see how it concerns you in any way, shape, or form. If I have a twitter following that wants to support me and get me re-featured, good for me. I'm simply trying to show that I DO have a following and when streaming consistently do put up the numbers TL is looking for. I also mentioned that I'm wanting to become more active and contribute more to my viewers. This isn't purely because of what happened with my stream being un-featured. This is something I've been thinking about and wanting to do for a while now. I just haven't had the time to do it until recently. As far as my followers needing to provide an argument, they do enough just by taking the time out of their day to post on this thread. They're making a point, what else do they need to argue? I can argue for myself, they're showing support.
I can understand the need for a cutline somewhere on what qualifies a featured streamer, thats fine. Several of the cut streams I like to watch regularly; but it just means that I will depend even more on my twitch.tv follow list/twitter and less on TL for finding streams.
A questions I have, is that with all the customization on the right side bar now, how hard would it be for people to have "individualized featured stream lists" or something where they can add streams they personally like to auto show up easy somehow and not get lost in the huge puddle of general streams?

nice argument i talk and explain stuff too but i guess im just shit beyond belief no matter what

yes, this is true, i wrote it just before, can you not see it? :-]
Hi, I would like to make a case for one of my players, ReIGN Artist.
Early last month was averaging 60-100 viewers on an unfeatured stream.
Since streaming on the Team ReIGN last week stream averaged 80-130 viewers.
In his first two live events he finished in Top 32 in IPL3 where he lost to IdrA (who won IEM the week before and finished 4th in MLG the week afterwards) and went deep in the open bracket in MLG Orlando, his losses were to White-Ra and Chance (who lost to White-Ra at the end of the Open Bracket).
Since moving into the ReIGN pro house he has won 4 Playhem Dailys, finished 2nd in 2 more and 3rd in two more. He also has won the most recent GameCreds, defeating Nerchio in the semifinals as well as another GameCreds a few weeks before.
His prize money in the past week is over $400. He streams nearly all his ladder matches when he isn't playing in tournaments. He interacts with his stream despite not being a native English speaker.
I feel because of all of this he deserves a featured stream.
It's been mentioned a few times, but my vote is to re-feature Megumixbear. She puts more effort into providing for her fans than anyone else that I've seen, going as far as waking up at 5am just to stream for her EU (and crazy NA) fans. She hosts four tournaments a month that are paid out of pocket, and has a legit viewer count even after being un-featured. Not that she should be favored for her gender, but being one of the top female players adds a much needed diversity to our community. I believe TL would do well to re-feature her, and hope that they don't miss out on this opportunity to do so.
Please re-feature ProTech for those of us who prefer 2v2. Any 2v2 players would be nice but ProTech is arguably the best 2v2er in the world so he would be preferred.

Often i see pros on her stream 2v2ing with her as well. But, i guess her skills aren't as high as other players as she's only master compared to the pros.
i wonder if there will be a feature (or 1 that exist, and i dont know about), where a person can bookmark specific streams on TL and have it show up on the side as personal preference

You defeatured Gosus such as Inka and Attero yet you still feature players like TLO and Incontrol that haven't achieved anything in a year. I'm sorry but, Incontrol is a personality, he is like a trump. Look at his win percentage.
You've defeatured Vibe. wtf? He is Top 5 NA Zergs. Plays in IPL, MLG, Nasl. Decent results.
This whole new system is whacked out. You say there is criteria for meeting featured. However, more frequently i'm seeing random korean pros that have NEVER ONCE contributed to TL get featured. They didn't even stream on here prior to being featured. I don't like this system. There is obviously some bias to this. Things needs to change.
I think posts like this prove that this system is working actually. If a streamer is missed or deserves to be re-featured, than that streamer's viewers will make their voices heard as you're doing. I think it adds a good element of competition to what was originally something of a lifetime appointment.
I agree with this 100% and I'm glad there's finally a thread where people can state their case for certain streamers.
megumixbear should be refeatured again. She's obviously not a pro and never claimed to be, so if you don't want to put her in the players category, then put her in the others category. However, I'll still state my case for the players category.
"Players" Category
1. High skill level / tournament results - She is not a pro and never claimed to be, but she's still a mid masters player on both NA/EU, so it's not like she's a bronze player.
2. High average viewer count - When she was featured she averaged 500-1k viewers depending on the time of day. Hotbid said in reference to attero that if he averaged 300 viewers he wouldn't have been defeatured. Megumi averages close to 300 while being unfeatured. If she can pull in 500-1k viewers while being featured, I think that proves that it's a popular enough stream to warrant being featured despite not being a pro player. Especially, if the bar is 300 viewers average like hotbid stated.
3. Notability / contribution - She's pretty well known in the community and recently did backstage interviews with players at IPL 3 and will again be at IPL 4. She also runs 4 tournaments a month as a way to give back to the community. She started doing this because she asked her viewers what she could do for them to help give back. She runs a bronze-diamond tourney on NA/EU as well as a Masters/GM tourney on NA/EU. The masters/gm tourney has a $50 prize pool and she pays all of this prize money out of her own pocket and always pays the winner right away through paypal on stream after the final game is played.
She also has pros such as dde, liquid ret and eg strifecro stop by sometimes. Also, a wild Day9 randomly appears at times and usually shows up for the bearcup tourneys like he did this past weekend.
This is a list of players that have previously won her NA Masters/GM tourney.
She's also one of the most interactive streamers out there and always talks to her viewers and reads the chat even though reading the chat distracts her and causes her to lose sometimes, lol. She also stays in chat post stream to chat with viewers and I don't know many other streamers that do that.
4. Activity - She works full time, so obviously can't stream as much as pros. However, she still streams pretty often even though she is pretty busy in life. She also has some dedicated stream times of mon-fri 6am pst and Sunday 2pm pst. She recently started waking up at 5am pst so she could stream at 6am pst for like an hour before work for her european viewers since they always say their miss her normal stream times. That takes some serious dedication for her viewers. Also during her bear cups she'll stream almost all day like this past weekend she streamed for about 12 hours on sunday and 8 hours on saturday.
She pretty much fulfills 3 of the 4 criteria for players, but if you only want to use that category for pro players, then move her to the other category which would be fine too. Plus, she's one of the nicest people out there and is such a manner bear that her stream is always pleasant to watch with a good atmosphere, even though trolls do show up now and then.
I would really appreciate ProTech's 2v2 stream being refeatured.
Although his viewer count is not as high as most featured 1v1 players, he is always ready to interact with his viewers, consistently streams for long hours, has a good quality stream, and plays at the highest level of 2v2 in SC2 currently, winning the most recent notable 2v2 tournament, the PTSL 2 playing against many other professional 1v1 players and 2v2 teams. Additionally he provides diversity in streaming due to him playing a completely different game type from every other currently featured stream on TL. I see this as a situation similar to the BW players that are featured- there aren't as many viewers for 2v2 or for BW and there aren't as many tournaments to play in, leading to a deficit in viewers and tournament results, which should lead to those streams not being featured for not meeting the requirements, however their presence in the community is important, which then should lead to the BW streams staying as featured, and ProTech becoming a featured stream once again.
I would also like to see Megumixbear refeatured. She is one of the most interactive streamers, hosting 4 tourneys a month, playing 1v1s and 2v2s with pro players, and occasional free coaching for her stream viewers. She always puts 100% into her streams to make them entertaining, fun, and educational. She consistently improves her game with every stream and talks about her mistakes after each game. Without being featured she has around 300-400 viewers.
I really think ProTech meets your new Featured Stream standards.
He won PTSL Season 2 which so far was the only "big" 2v2 tournament. He averages 200-400 viewers. That's a ton for 2v2. He streams almost 24/7. If I go to sleep now, I can wake up 10hrs later and he still streams.

Easily one of the best Finnish Terrans, constantly posts good online results and his Terran on an almost global scale is extremely impressive to watch.

EDIT: Also TypePhoeNix is really fun to watch and imo should be featured. sYz too.
I totally agree. Fuzer is my favourite player to watch, he does crazy, innovative builds (like hellion only in all 3 match-ups) and is a really funny player to watch. He streams most days, and averages over 150 viewers at a minimum. I don't really see many Finnish people streaming on TL, not to mention he always streams his daily cups. Fuzer has my vote for being refeatured
HasHe has been a consistent streamer since the Beta days... probably gets 400-600+ viewers every time he streams. He's taken more days off recently but go back a month and he was one of the most consistent everyday streamers next to Destiny.

Slightly off topic but I am wondering about your logic... If PTSL Season 2 was the only "big" 2v2 tournament what was PTSL Season 1?
