that's how i'd feel if i got un-featured.
Good move IMO. Too much clutter on the feature stream list before.

He won PTSL Season 2 which so far was the only "big" 2v2 tournament. He averages 200-400 viewers. That's a ton for 2v2. He streams almost 24/7. If I go to sleep now, I can wake up 10hrs later and he still streams. I'd be happy to see him becoming featured again. Thanks for reading. Slightly off topic but I am wondering about your logic... If PTSL Season 2 was the only "big" 2v2 tournament what was PTSL Season 1? PTSL Season 1 was won by CatZ and drewbie, ProTech and his partner Power were knocked out of the winners bracket by CatZ/drewbie (1st place) and were knocked out of the loser bracket by SeleCT and OpTiKzErO(2nd place).

1: Obviously no tournament results, but of the top 200 2v2 teams he's part of about a quarter 2: Don't have numbers on me, but his stream is well-watched 3: He's often extremely useful talking strategy/streaming lessons 4: On more often than not! He fills a niche, and does it really well. My favorite non-HuK stream.

He seens to have a ton of knowledge about the game. He is always giving good information and he knows the ins and outs of all the races. For players who aren't masters caliber like myself his stream is a very good stream to learn from as 90%+ of the streams out there the casters rarely if ever give insight into why they go certain builds or what they are seeing. Having TL not feature his stream would be a disservice to esports and the game of SC2 specifically. I believe he should be re-featured.

The unfortunate thing about this change is that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. With more strictly controlled requirements its going to become a lot harder for new, up and coming players/entertainers to get their foot in the door.

For people who enjoy his stream, they can still watch it, but I'm glad to see TL not endorsing such behavior.

Megumixbear is a top Master level Terran player and does amazing things even though she has another job and is constantly busy! She plays at least daily, waking up for her Eurpean viewers at 6AM PST to stream for them and averages about 300 people every time she streams. Megumi hosts 4 tournaments every month (1 Bronze-Diamond NA, 1 Masters/GM NA, 1 Bronze-Diamond EU, 1 Masters/GM EU) and usually gets some of the pros to play in her tournaments (LiquidRet among them.) She usually practices with GM players like EGStrifeCro and GosuDDE, and although she can't beat them, it's a huge indicator of how dedicated she is to the game that she keeps practicing with them and getting better all the time. She constantly interacts with her viewers with her webcam on screen and by talking to us in chat and out loud, taking time to respond to us when she could just ignore her viewers completely like some streamers. Megumi was recently the Interviewer for IPL 3 and will return to do interviews for IPL 4. She also is the featured voice in the trailer for the IPL 3 behind-the-scenes film called "It Could Be Great". (http://vimeo.com/31118978) Megumixbear will even sometimes have the top streamers like Destiny or Day[9] call her up and talk to her while streaming! :D I think that re-featuring Megumixbear would highly increase her popularity, and would also help further Starcraft II and E-Sports in general. Thanks for listening! ![]() -PaladinOfLight

Attero: He's really good, commenting his games and made it to the finals at WCG Canada. VERY mannered. HasHe: His playstyle is kinda different, doing lots of nukes. InKa: Part of a good team, he made an impressive run at MLG Orlando, beating trimaster, darkcell to name a few. Titan: Really insightful stream, very good player. He learns a lot to the viewers and interact with them as well. ViBe: He's takes games off the best players on his stream. He's also part of a really solid team. I could name few others, but the main idea is to point out that these guys play starcraft as a living and they won't be able to make it if they get unfeatured. They greatly contribute to my sc2 watching experience and i wanted to point it out. Good luck guys in your quest of being re-featured once again!

Take the case of iNka, people are saying he should be featured, well, if you feature iNka there is like, probably 20-30 other streams around his quality, but if these guys just had the opportunity to be at the top of the non-featured list, and people knew that's how it sorted, they'd be much more likely to watch those streams. Even sublists of non-featured stream by league would be good IMO.

Also "would highly increase her popularity" isn't the point of featuring people. Hosting tournaments is somewhat irrelevant - one of the points of the TL restructure was that people hosting events (especially team accounts) don't need to be featured in order to promote their events, as it can be tied to the event in the calendar.

This is a joke. I really think there needs to be an option to sort by ladder ranking, obviously ladder isn't everything, but the people not featured suffer really badly being lumped in with a plethora of gold, etc players, no offence to lower league players, their streams are just not as interesting as the more talented players. Obviously this takes a bit of work to code something that will connect a stream to a BNet account, but its not that hard to do and IMO would help a lot ^_^.
