We totally need a PUA community here lol
Anyways, I've decided I want to add powercleans into my next rotation! I just don't know where I'd put it... Probably on one of my back days...

It is apparently ::dun dun duuun...:: HUMIDITY. A few weeks ago there were a number of sessions where I'd get a baaaaad headache every time I lifted. Like it was really debilitating to the point where I either couldn't finish my workout or had to take a really long break, bump my weights down a bit, and do as much as I could manage. So today it was humid as shit and during my work sets for squats I started to feel unnaturally light headed again and it took me FOREVER to catch my breathe in between each set because of the heavy air. Damn squats took me like half an hour. But I managed it well and wound up able to finish my whole workout without the actual splitting headache. Just took it slow. Squats took a lot out of me though because I was trying really hard to concentrate on not getting a headache but at the same time I really wanted to push that weight. Last set probably was the worst looking set I've ever done but finishing that 5th rep felt awesome haha. I think somewhere in there, probably 2nd and 4th reps I almost stalled because I let myself rock way too far forward on the way up, but was able to correct myself before my form fell apart. I also had this problem a few months ago, I believe It's called http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thunderclap_headache For me it was only when I did heavy lifting though, like squats and deadlifts. It would come very suddenly and be very painful so I had to stop workout for 5-10 minutes and sit down, else it felt like i would fall over. I would continue my workout after that but the pain was still there, just not as bad. First time i got it was during a pull up session when i was fairly new to lifting, but It wasn't that painful then so I just kept lifting. After a while It got so painful i had to stop doing heavy lifting for a few weeks. I believe it's often caused by poor breathing, like you said, so I started to pay more attention to the way I breath when i got back to lifting and haven't had any problems since. That has pretty much been my problem. I've found a similar solution just focusing on where to breath and stuff and I've been fine since. Except on humid days when it seems I can't catch my breathe at all. @dimsum; I live about 45 min north of Morristown (close to Newark). A bit of a hike for a gym right now. :/

At the start of the hang, push your hips back and keep your shoulders right over the bar. Everything should stay tight. then you can do this in no time! (my favorite video) This is 62kg Yang Fan

So I was going to go practice power cleaning today, but step dad wanted to go pick up stuff from the yard sale we had. Guess who got stuck at home and couldn't go to the gym? This guy.

squat in new shoes, pretty awesome support but my form was awful because i wore myself out too quick. need to start with linear progression 3x5 instead of a mess of 50 random reps. bench was weird, i felt unsettled and uncharacteristically unstable on warmup, then had a shit 1x3 @65 kg (was hoping to hit 67.5). at that point i thought i had only 20 minutes till the gym closed when infact it was 1hr20 so i left with the intention of going tomorrow. wtf haha? t.t

Milk from a grass fed cow is way different though.. I actually like it. The yolk in eggs is a different color. Orange, wtf? Still, they taste 200000x better, I eat around 20 a day. Organic Bosnian food + heavy ass American weights = happy DizemTegove.

Oh, it really sucks to only have an limited amount of plates. Time to buy some more? @Dizem: It would be ideal if you could combine those two.

You could always do a fundraiser and look for some cheap deals on the internet. Craigslist is supposed to be very nice. My gym is the best. And that is why I drive 15-20 minutes each way and don't think it is a big deal. All the huge guys asking me to compete is great
