Decaf: It seems that your pull strength is more than sufficient for the 150C&J, but I think what's dragging you down is your catch of the bounce. You expend too much energy on the clean recovery because you rest for a second at the bottom. If you can catch that bounce I think you can smash that 150kg.

Of course, this is another one of those easier said than done things.

Yeah all those are fucking garbage. even the one i almost make i almost catch on my toes. hopefully i can get some coaching this week

I am always doing neutral grip pull/chin-ups,since my gym doesn't have a bar for normal chin-ups. But the gym in the hometown of my parents has. I just wanted to hang down there and maybe do some negatives, but then I pulled myself up and before I realized what happened my elbows easily broke 90°. Repeated it for two more singles. Didn't manage to get the full range of motion just yet, but now it is only a matter of weeks. I am probably going to perform my first chin-up at approximately 130kg BW. When this is happening, it will be my proudest lifting moment so far. I was mostly a chubby kid and started being really overweight at around 12 years of age. And so I never had the strength to pull myself up without help. But now I can already smell it. A good way to end this year. See you guys on the other side

Congrats, Malinor. ^^ I'm looking forward to that same feeling, but I'm not quite there yet.

Just finished Warrior Dash in central FL. This is our team's warm-up event for the three tough mudders we are to finish this year

My friend took this with a GoPro Hero HD and this is the first edit. I'll have something more refined but for now here is the raw footage.
