Also TB said he'd release replays after DreamHack (so no builds are stolen etc) for everyone to cast.

If you want to just drop in and have a shot in the King of the Hill format

Today's stream of SHOUTCraft is excellent, thanks TotalBiscuit, you stay classy.

Just a thought, thanks.
If I am going to give up $1,500 of my own money as well as countless hours of time, I would quite like to at least cast my own tournament.

If only everyone's so generous, E-sports would had made it yesterday.

I had to go to sleep. Who won the final?

Sick seeing almost 20K viewers watching Shoutcraft today, huge congrats TB you da man!

Great job casting TB. Some people might say you're not a knowledgeable Starcraft 2 caster. You know what you need to know but you shine in other areas but from knowledge. If all casters were the same it wouldn't be funny and that's why I think you're a good caster.

Well, there's a whole bunch of players. Two players play, the winner plays the next person, the winner of that plays the next person, and so on. The last person remaining is the winner. In team leagues, it's like this, best of 7 or 9 and the first team to 4 or 5 wins respectively is the winner. In other KotH events, there are typically prizes for the longest streak and the last player standing.

Great cast yesterday TB. You must have been absoloutely knackered by the end of it. The reason I am posting is that I just want to give some small constructive criticism.
First of all I just want to say that I am a huge fan and I think you are doing a fantastic job for the community. My only negative comments would be that sometimes I don't feel you adhere to your mission statement completely. What I mean by this, is that you state that you are a shoutcaster and avoid anaylsis that is more often seen from the likes of Day9. However, I have noticed in your casts, that you will often try to predict a build from a player before he does so and unfortunately, due to not having spent as much time with this game as many others (understandably due to other commitments), you will often be way off with your guess.
My problem with this personally is that it can be very cringe-worthy to watch, for example yesterday, I believe in a game between White-Ra and Stephano, White-Ra placed his first pylon at his natural and carried on making probes, upto around 16 supply. It was clear to see for people that watch a lot of high level play, it was either going to be a nexus first or forge fast expand, yet you pinned him on a "proxy 2 gate" and kept talking about that. There are 2 reasons I didn't like this, first of all, it was obvious that you were wrong and it made it hard to watch every time you kept repeating that he was going for a "proxy 2 gate". The second reason, and the reason I am posting, is that you know that your knowledge of the game is not up to the highest standards, yet you still fell into the trap of trying to predict a build. I feel this simply doesn't suit your style, and judging from reading what you have said in the past it seems as though you know this yourself.
To summarize, I think you did a fantastic job yesterday and I really enjoy all of your work. My one piece of, what I hope you can read as constructive criticism, is to try to stick to your Shoutcrafting style and avoid trying to guess what players are doing. Currently, you often get this wrong (although this may change in the future as you cast more and more) and it can make parts of your cast difficult to watch.
Otherwise, I really enjoyed your tournament yesterday, congratulations on the fantastic live audience you received, and I look forward to the next one!

Yeah I stopped doing the KOTH a while ago, the OP of this thread is sorely out of date and needs work

So are you still casting "casual" games on a regular basis, or is it all sponsored showmatches and tournaments?
|
Your stream is awesome, your 'I suck at Starcraft´series is really cool. Keep ut the good work man!
Btw great tourny, love your casting

Why agree to cast dreamhack when you dont cast anything? No games for 90 minutes now, if you going to cast it, then cast it, if not, then why stay online and say you are? Disappointed in 1 game in 3 hours.

When there are no games running for him to cast, there is nothing he can do. You are just late to the party, he casted I believe 3-4 series since 10am, but they were relatively short, so there was a longer break unfortunately.
