However if I should buy this then probably it would have to taste like meat and be cheaper than normal meat. Normally fake meat products like qourn isn't that cheap but I could see everybody eating this in 100 years. | ||

The inefficiency of farming meat is a huge part in why people starve. This example is gonna be pretty exagerated but the point still stands. One cow eats 10kg grass per day while producing 2kg milk. This same cow goes on living its life for lets say 10 years when it finally gets slaughtered, that means 10kg grass x 365 x 10. That´s how many kilos grass this cow has eaten That´s 365 000kg grass. However it produces 2 x 365 x 10 kilos of milk. That is about 7 000kgs of milk. I think you see where this is heading. Then you get about 200 kilos of meat for all that. Grass is in this case actually not grass but instead different soy-products. Imagine how much space where you could farm efficient food that doesnt go through a cow would suddenly pop up if the meat industry vanished. Now THAT´s the way to solve world hunger. Not by making poopmeat. | ||
