Unless the player is actually bad, No, it hasn't. Prime example is IdrA. I would say Combat-Ex is a good example of where the player is widely disliked for BM, and not really notable. He showed some AMAZING games today, truly fantastic play by him. I think MLG can easily make stars out of relatively low profile players. Naniwa for example still was widely known for being cheesy and BM back when he won MLG dallas. Dallas really changed that image, and people started to respect him, realizing he'd become an entirely new player and personality. I think if Major wins this MLG (he has some stiff competition, like morrow and the koreans) people will give him the credit that - based on todays games - he deserves. | ||
