After I made my first blog-post yesterday and got some positive I decide to make another one today!
If you haven't read it, I am William, play Protoss in the Silver league and I am sixteen years old
In my quest to find fun and friendship in StarCraft I bumped into something troublesome. While playing ladder I always 4gate because of my lack of knowledge and training in other builds. My question follows, should I have a standard build against every race or should I practice one build really much so I utilize it more effective. I know there are a lot of good builds out there but frankly I am quite scared to try them because I think it will mess up my 4gate(Not that my 4gate is that great). A lot of people say training and refining is the key to improving the game but sadly I can only play about three days per week and I want to have fun playing those days. I do not want to play game after game against the infamous ''Player 2''. Would the solution be getting some good practice buddy's, should I just dump that idea and play ladder and hope I improve over time (I have only been playing SC for about three weeks afterall) or perhaps a combination of those?
Another thing I would like to know is what kind of music you listen while playing starcraft. I am looking to make a playlist for my laddering in the hope I will be less nervous before and while playing a game (I call those my ''Chobo Chills'' just FYI )
Thanks a lot for reading and please excuse me for any spelling and/or grammar mistakes.
P.S. If you want to add me on Battle.net my name is Dessy and my character code is 801, but please leave a message on TL.net to avoid confusion.
