Well played. Not classy at all, considering that they didn't give the same courtesy to White-Ra and Naniwa. And I know, "it's up to the opponent", blablabla, but in essence it's really up to NASL since they make the rules (and enforce them). It's up to their opponent to either take the Walkover or reschedule. Everyone so far as decided to take the walkover. Haypro decided to reschedule probably because he's a super manner boss and Team Liquid and oGs share a team house.

There is no conspiracy here, so don't create one.
If you show up late for work without reason, you'll get slapped in the face by your boss. If you tell him you can't come in advance, it tends to be fine.
The Nada situation was handled with commons sense in every way. Even if the rules had opposed the current outcome, it still would have been the right thing to do.

We are going to be changing our format slightly to improve viewer experience and player scheduling conflicts.
The broadcast schedule will be moved forward by one day and matches will now air Wednesday through Sunday at their regular times.
This change will occur this week so there will be no broadcast on Friday. Friday's matches will air on Saturday. From there on out we will continue with our adapted schedule.
We want to apologize for the delay in our broadcast this Tuesday and the absence of the anticipated match-up between JulyZerg and White-Ra.
There was also an issue while trying to film the first game of the day, Strelok-Naniwa. At first Naniwa asked if we could reschedule for a different day. Naniwa then asked for time to rest before the match as he had been traveling. Meanwhile we asked Strelok and his manager if that was OK, Strelok agreed to wait.
Naniwa had not logged in to the player channel and did not see this message. Later it became clear that he did not receive this message from us.
While this was going on we saw that Naniwa was laddering. We were taken aback and went to Mouz's manager to ask if he wanted to take a win.
Immediately after the problem we called Dignitas' manager Odee to discuss and he stands by our decision to award the game to Strelok. However, we could have communicated better and will not be penalizing Naniwa; he will remain at 0-0 and will not be fined.
Previously we had allowed players to delay their match on a given day if they gave us advance warning. From now on we will continue to film according to our regular schedule but we will allow players to postpone their match by one day if they need to reschedule because of major LAN events. As always, emergencies or illness will allow rescheduling.
This delay will allow us to be more flexible to LAN events as they occur and to make sure that we can air every single match that should be played.
Also to be noted, waiting on players to arrive is heavily affecting our schedule. Many times we have been forced to break our schedule and film games out of series. This increases our edit time immensely in addition to throwing the casters off. When compounded with our tight encode schedule it can have major effects on our stream timeline.
By adding a two-day lead time from shoot to show, we think we can make sure that every game where the players arrive on time will be played.
We are also no longer going to put the burden of choosing to take the win on to the players. We had been asking them as we thought that they would prefer that, but based on feedback we see that there is too much pressure for them to not take the win.
Thank you for your continued support. source
For everyone still arguing about this... please stop.

Plus haypro and Nada or basically on the same team i doubt haypro would do that to him. So let me get this straight if Nada gets knocked out of the GSL today, we will see him play 2 games next week, if hes in the finals no games, and we will see him play 3 games the following week? I dont care if NASL works with the United Nation or Save The Whale Foundation. Its simply not fair for those players that got penalty becuase NASL didnt work with Dreamhack. Why is Naniwa 3-1? I remember them saying that he would not be given a loss, while Strelok would still get the win. Did they change their minds about this?
Or is it that he does not lose any points for that? Since he is 3-1 while having 6 points.

I asked this before....
Are the NASL games LIVE? Because whats to stop players from cheating?
And I ask it again, because at the end of tonights stream, the Nada game was postponed, because he was set to play in the GSL. Which is set to commence in 86 minutes.
Now if these were pre recorded, this wouldnt have happened, meaning that the games were in fact live.
Whats stopping these players from watching the live stream on another computer?
Or am I missing something here?

So why couldnt nada play his game against haypro? Technically there wouldnt be a time conflict then.

Or am I missing something here? They aren't live, and players could theoretically maphack, so the honor system is the only thing stopping them from really cheating. NASL isn't live, but the Nada game was still postponed because it would've been played yesterday or the day before -- both times when Nada would be practicing for GSL.
GSL > NASL, and Nada is in the semifinals now. You can bet your ass he wouldn't even bother preparing for NASL (and that's assuming he would've shown up in the first place).

Maybe these matches were recorded 4 days ago when he was playing his quarterfinal match, who knows.
Edit: I just realized that it's a strong possibility Nada talked with Haypro about postponing their match since they are kind of on the same team.

I dont know if I agree with that. Maphack? Nah, to much at stake, blizzard can track it. And they would lose all their sponsorships etc if there was controversy raised. Not even an option in my opinion.
Also, what your saying sounds like speculation. Gretorp and Incontrol didnt say he needed the time to practice, but said specifically that there was a time schedule conflict with the GSL.

No, they are not live. (I am not sure if they are played M-F or Tues-Sat).

The Koreans need to wake up at 4am or so, and he may not have wanted to throw off his sleep schedule or preparation time. There wasn't a direct time conflict, but Haypro and the NASL were presumably both okay with postponing it in order to have a better match.

We set aside two events, GSL and MLG that we would fit our schedule around. The fact that Nada advanced to the Semi Finals of the GSL is significant / important enough for us to grant him an exception.
