- You've made the MSL Ro16 two seasons in a row.
▲ As always, I'm very happy to win. I was worried that I might have lost some of my touch because of the long off-season, but I'm proud to go through 2-0.
- People think your ZvZ is weak, but you're leading in head-to-head record against Hyun.
▲ Personally, I think Hyun is very good, but because I'm greatly leading against him, I'm very proud of myself.
- Usually you try to go late game ZvZ, but you ended it early today.
▲ It's what I had planned. For some reason, I thought Hyun would 12 hatch, so I did 9 pool speed and it worked out perfectly.
- In the winner's game, you met Ruby, you has strong TvZ.
▲ Because we have very good Terrans on our team (T/N: now you do) my ZvT has improved a lot and is becoming even better. I'm confident regardless of who I face.
- A lot of Terran players use the late mech switch nowadays.
▲ It's the same, just a little different in how you execute it.
- Did Soulkey say anything to you regarding yesterday's game?
▲ He didn't really say anything, but he must have been proud of his games because he kept on telling me to read the news reports (laughs). They had the replay on TV today, so I told him and he got up in a flash to come sit in front of the TV. He must have been really proud of himself. And to be honest, I don't think his play warrants a S rating. (T/N: Fomos gives ratings on a A~F scale in its articles, with S being the best rating. Soulkey got a A+ for last night's game against Fantasy) He should play like when I got the S-rating against Baby (laughs).
- Soulkey is trying to steal the "Queen's Prince" nickname.
▲ I've been using Queens for a while, and I think Crazy-Hydra and Soulkey have been secretly jealous of me. So that's why I think they're imitating me now. I said in the broadcast interview a few minutes ago, but because Soulkey was using Queens yesterday, it might have seemed like I was copying him, so I was a little disgruntled by that (laughs). So I didn't really want to use Queens today, but I felt I needed to use them to win, so I did.
- You dropped out in the Ro4 last MSL, so you must be chomping at the bit even more.
▲ My goal is obviously to win, and as I get more experience, I become more motivated. I can't wait to see myself play this season.
- You play Hero in the Ro16.
▲ I play Hero, who has just as bad of a reputation for bad ZvZ as me (laughs). I want to make his reputation worse than mine (laughs).
- This coming 23rd, you play Hite in the first game of Proleague Round 5.
▲ In the offseason, we practiced just as much as any other team, so I think we can do very well in Rounds 5 and 6. Our team is exhausted through Round 4, but we can step it up a notch in the remaining rounds and go to the finals.
- Last words?
▲ It's been so long that I don't know what to say (laughs). The cherry blossoms are pretty this time of year, I encourage everyone to go see the flowers. Although I say this, I haven't gone yet either. I don't have anyone to go with.
- You can go with Soulkey, Really, and Free.

Horang2!
- You've made the Ro16 in your first MSL in a while.
▲ I'm really happy, and I feel like I live for this (laughs). Because I don't have much of a record in individual leagues, when I play with Movie I say "Talk to me when you make it through the preliminaries" and he would say "Talk to me after you play in a final" so I would always lose that battle, which saddened me.
- You were the only Protoss in the group, so people were worrying about your chances to make it through.
▲ The first game was a little worrying. Ruby played well whenever I practiced with him, and even better in live games. Because Zero was in the group, I thought I would make it through the final match, but truthfully I was a little nervous.
- You played a little disappointingly in the first game.
▲ Not a little; a lot. I played poorly, but Ruby played exceptionally. I had to doubt my eyes telling me that this was Ruby playing (LOL).
- You built four Forges.
▲ That was a complete mistake. I had originally planned to make three so I could upgrade Weapons, Armor, and Shields at the same time, but I built four so I wanted to destroy one (laughs). When I saw four Forges at the end, I thought "What the hell is this?" at myself.
- However, in the Losers' match, you won with your specialty, macro.
▲ I was so far ahead that I thought I would have an easy time breaking through, but Hyun blocked it very well. However, I was still so much ahead that I could bring the game to a close.
- You exacted revenge against Ruby, when did you sense that you would win?
▲ I didn't know until the end. I didn't think he would cave in that easily at the end. If there had been mines, it would have been a lot more difficult, but I think Ruby was thinking more late game than I was.
- To be a better player, you need to play well against all players. How are you planning to address this?
▲ My play goes up and down a lot. What do I do? (laughs). What can I really do about it. I think as I become better, the races will balance out a lot more. Even now, I don't practice my PvP, just against the other two races. I'm trying, but seeing my state right now, I'm starting to think that it's incurable. I'm trying harder hoping that it will work out in the end.
- It's your first MSL in five seasons, what's your goal?
▲ Now that I've made the start, I really want to get to the final. However, I will set my first goal as getting to the Ro8 and getting a seed for the next season. I just want to say that my goal is to win the whole thing, but I don't think I'm at that level yet (laughs).
- You face Grape in the Ro16.
▲ I know Grape already personally, and he's a person I like so I didn't want to face him. Plus, when I see him play nowadays I begin to feel his force. I hope both of us play at the top of our ability, and stay cool even if we lose.
- How are you preparing for Round 5 of Proleague?
▲ We're playing team ranking matches these days, and it's really hectic. I couldn't play in them today because of MSL, but I'm going to resume practicing again tomorrow. I'll try to get the first team win of Round 5 by working together with my teammates.
- Final words?
▲ Thank you for everyone that cheered me on, and when Coach Lee Jae Hoon (forU) comes with me to matches, I always win. I hope he comes for the Ro16 match too (laughs).
