Yesterday's broadcast has had its issues. We all saw it. There are 10+ pages of whining. There is an entirely new cast going on now. Please keep whining about issues experienced yesterday to yourself going forward in the thread and allow other people to enjoy the games.

Apparently the points dont determine rankings and are more of a tie breaker. You get 1 point for winning and -1 for losing. If you got 1 point and a win, that means it went to game 3. if you got 2 points and a win, you closed it out in game 2.

(o.O) Usually he is just agreeing with inControl and not saying his own knowledge of the game. It is OK to do that, but you need to add your own flare to the show and be funny or positive to add some sort of good flavor to the casting. The most obvious example of this is Tasteless, who even though I think doesn't have a whole lot of knowledge of the game, I still consider as one of the best starcraft casters ever. Well, only bad commentators interrupt their partners while they are talking, and incontrol is talking pretty much, so it's hard for Gretorp to come with his input on stuff. This is no hate on incontrol, but I would rather say that he should let Gretorp talk a little more.

Tastosis does it for GSL. Day[9] and co. have sported it at MLG. Why can't the NASL have the same look? I think this criticism is blind to the norm.

I think it's impossible to compare the NASL to GSL or MLG because they are completely different. The reason the NASL was able to include so many amazing players is because they can easily play from home. Also, there is no live studio where fans can go watch so I think it is unfair to compare the NASL to live tournament settings.

I feel the casters have improved, but the obs is as bad as before (a big no no in any sport imo) They need to improve the sound too, I'm sure we'd like the cast more if the sound was more clear. I mean, a good soundtrack is like 3% the bandwidth of a 1080p stream, so I don't understand how the sound can be so bad. Seems like the tech guy, who is compressing the videos, doesn't know what he does. Same with the framerate, please reduce the quality and improve the framerate, everything will look like 5 times better. I'd be curious to know their production process, I'm sure there is some easy to fix technical flaws in there that are causing all this mess. I post all this and perhaps they've already fixed that for this week. But with that schedule they're obviously in a permanent rush, I hope they'll have time to fix all these things.

They have to do this! reduce the quality to increase the framerate ( or somehow increase the framerate) because at 15 fps its gives me and im sure others a huge headache.

So far my liquibets are looking pretty darned amazing... Gogo NASL! Oh, and to whoever commented on the casters' attire.. have you watched any other tournament casts at ALL? Everyone does it, and it looks fine. It's the official esports-caster look.

This is something new that is just getting started and naturally will take time. This is just like when TV was first introduced, at first it wasn't that great but it grew exponentially as time went on and the problems were fixed. All you have to do is have patience and faith that the NASL will soon be one of the greatest leagues in the world, I think will. You ask people to pay for it (in advance!), you get everybody really hyped about how awesome it will be. And then you deliver this online league with amateurish vibe. Of course people are a bit upset! I think the main reason for customer hatred is the professionalism of GSL and the smooth operation of free TSL. They are not easy to compete against. But gl to NASL, concept is good, better execution is needed. Hope it works out! Also casters are the real stars of StarCraft 2. Get the best to be the best.

I would like to see more Diggity. I find his commentary to be excellent. A little more Diggity, a little less Gretorp (Gretorp not bad but but i wanna see how Diggity and Incontrol do) If more Diggity is not a possibility, 1 thing that would Greatly improve the casting is to try to not interrupt each other so much. That is definitly one thing I noticed Gretorp and Incontrol do alot, they talk over each other frequently. Other than that, Games are still awesome and I am super excited. Diggity's youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/diggitySC Check out his videos, the guy is a total professional and apparently has been around a while, I did not know who he was Until NASL.
