Thoughts on making the MSL?
Interesting games, huh? (haha) Normally, I don't think about how tiring it can be to advance to the MSL, but I think I'm feeling it now. In practice, I've also played some exhausting games, and regames are just crushing. I'd thought about replay situations before; it's something new to me. I'll definitely play well in the MSL.
Let's talk for a bit about your draw game.
It was a worrisome, crazy game. There were so many exchanges that I had trouble processing it all. The first recall put me in a very bad position. After overcoming that difficulty, I don't even know how it happened, but the game ended up a draw. In the lategame, I didn't control enough resources, so after losing 1 o'clock, I thought I was done for. I actually wanted to fight it out, but Pure just wouldn't face me head on. I don't understand why he kept backing off. So in the end, it was a draw. I originally considered returning to save my main, but then I realized I still had to face Pure's bases and workers, so I let my own base go. I'm actually not entirely clear how the game progressed like this.
When your goliath shot down Pure's arbiter, the camera caught you smirking.
When the KeSPA ref first came to both of us, I was fine with a regame, but Pure wanted to continue fighting. After I killed the arbiter, I knew it would be a regame for sure, so I smiled. When the game paused the first time, I thought a lot. I still didn't know what was left on the map, but I knew that if my goliath died, I would lose. So I spent all my effort protecting that one goliath.
After killing that arbiter, you had the upper hand, but you accepted a regame. Why?
I didn't know my opponent's troop count. I could have fought, but I didn't have scans. I thought my opponent had a lot of forces, so I went with the regame. If I had known Pure had just that tiny force, I would have not been OK with a regame for sure.
So you never considered you'd win?
Pure had too many zealots. If I let those zealots get to my tanks, I would have lost, so I didn't have much of a choice. My concentration was shoddy, so that was the best response.
Your performance has been poor lately.
Even though it's been tiring, I've put in a lot of effort. So today I was able to make the MSL. In the upcoming games, I'll work to repair my condition.
How was your game against Soulkey?
The people still waiting in the stadium at this point are all people I'm close with (haha). I played so dumb, and I still had to advance. (haha) It looks like if I maintain my condition early, we can still win.
Your individual league performance is slightly weaker.
This time I have huge ambition. If I can play the way I play in practice, I can get good results.
Anything else?
Originally, our team was all on break, but my teammates quickly returned to help me practice. Thanks to them! It's the reason I was able to win today. If anyone else has a game, I'll be sure to return the favor in kind. R5, R6 are coming up quickly, so with renewed unity and vigor we'll be sure to get great results and get to GwangAhnRi. I hope everyone cheers us on!

Soulkey
Thoughts on making the MSL?
I'm glad to advance. But my current strength is unsatisfactory, so I have to work harder. My seniors all advanced already, so I was worried about what I'd do if I was eliminated. So it's a good thing I made it too. I suspect if I had failed, Zero would have laughed at me forever. (haha)
You had to wait a while for the winners' game. It must have been tiring.
I was bored out of my mind. If we had played immediately, I wouldn't have been anxious, but thanks to the long break I was very nervous.
In the final game, you triumphed over M18M.
As soon as the game started, my nerves vanished. I played with a free and light spirit.
Today, Woongjin also played a game of soccer with FOX.
The coach asked me to play, so I went and played. (haha) Woongjin has few people, so we don't have a choice; we half-forced everyone to go. But we're really no good at soccer (haha). I had already prepared fully for the MST, so I had no reservations about going out there.
Last season, you met Zero in the Ro16.
This season, everyone advanced, so I was worried I would be the only one left behind. Actually, if it weren't for Zero, I'd probably be a much different person. (haha) Last season, my goal was to make it farther than Zero in the MSL and get to the Ro8. If I had beaten him, that goal would have been accomplished; it's really regrettable.
What's your goal this time then?
Same as last time. Get to the Ro8 and make it farther than Zero (haha). I really don't want to play any more MST. If I meet Zero in the Ro16 again, I'll muster up every sliver of strength to beat him.
Crazy-Hydra has transferred to KT.
His transfer is somewhat regrettable, but it'll also let C-H get his much-deserved chances to play. I hope he'll do well. But I hope he doesn't come up to just snipe me.
