TLO sure is a handsome and good to market guy but i would wish he showed some more constant play. Maybe he really should decide for a race. Anyways im verry happy for him to have such a great deal!
@Irrationla_Animal, i guess he wont get a salary, because he has his contract with TL about monthly salary or whatever. Only if he would make active advertising for sony (for example ads for streams praising new stuff) he would get paid directly. But who knows :D

Love this guy, if there was a Zorkmid Inc. I'd be trying my damnedest to get my Logo on TLO.
|
This is indeed surprising seeing is how TLO hasn't been in the spotlight nearly as much compared to the first three months of launch. I am very happy for him though, and Sony Ericsson made a good choice since this german has captured so many of our hearts :x.
TLO fighting!

TLO is going big time! Now all he needs is super model girlfriend and a visit from MTV cribs to show-off his fleet of cars. (all kidding aside)
Congratulations TLO on your commercial success. TLO Fighting!

A highly popular SCII player known for his creativity.
Well mannered, has good on-screen charisma. Not the greatest, but he definitely carries a personality on him even without needing to speak.
Say what you want about him, he's a respectable high-tier level SCII player, even now. Sure, he doesn't feel as invincible as when Idra and him were the only real GSL challengers and how he was literally the (f)ace of Team Liquid at one point, but he's still darn darn great.
A darn great player who are definitely in the top 20-30 of non-Koreans, imo. And he plays random.
Uses nukes.
Honestly, despite his lack of winning success, he's one of the few players who had really cemented his presence and quality as a SCII pro. With personality, skill, entertainment value, fanbase, etc.
I think his Korean nickname, Nostradario is really reflective of the kind of player and person TLO is. The name Nostradario reminds me of a Maestro, and that is pretty much how I think TLO plays.
A maestro who captivates. Nostradario. The Little One.
Definitely deserving of a personal sponsorship.

This is so well deserved. A super solid random player and he seems like such a nice guy.
|
TLO would be a great person to sponsor, he is extremely nice and one of the most creative players.
|
Is there a conflict between the sponsors? i mean, TLAF is an iOS Developer, and now TLO is getting sponsored by a direct competitor to the iphone.
is TLO still going to be a liquid sponsored player after this?
|
Hah! You go TLO, just start winning some big tournaments, or keep playing with your amazing playstyle, either way, you deserve this!
|
For the people not understanding the negativity, i think it is mostly because tlo is awesome hnas has awesome sponsors already, while other player/teams as awesome as tlo do not have any real sponsors at all.
But well its hardly tlo´s fault so gratz =)
|
if TLO played hard and commited to Terran he would be right up there imo
|
TLO hasn't won anything. He's yet to prove himself. Congratz on the $$$$. But I'd rather see you win.
I like TLO. I want to see him win. He never wins. I feel its hard to support TLO by his lack of performance.

He is one of the around 20-30 persons (maybe even less) to have won an international LAN event (Pokeridol which had 5000 Pound Prizepool).

Win what? Tournaments? He won Pokeridol. Win matches? His 151 points in the TSL qualifiers proved that he has no problem winning matches.
He is a nice guy with a creative playstyle who has chosen to play the hardest race, that is why he is so likeable. If you only want to support players who win 100% of their matches then you will probably find it hard supporting anyone.

:O so awesome grats tlo <3<3
|
Grats to TLO.
I don't understand the hate..... Be glad for someone when good things happen to them
|
Not a surprise, the guy's a fan favourite and really earned his following. :D
TLO fighting!

Go TLO! That's a huge sponsorship, it's nice to see a player with a really creative playstyle getting sponsored. Easily one of the most fun players to watch

lol, owned... though to be honest I think this was just a misunderstanding.
as someone else said, TLO attracks people to watch the game, after all that is why people/teams get sponsors, cause they expose the sponsor to the public that want to see him/them playing.
good for TLO!!! I want to see his games =)...
