You seem to forget a small fact here : Actually Squirtle is in code B and HuK is in code S. Squirtle did good in teamleagues but I don't see why he should be considered greatly superior to HuK, esp when you look at his subpar performance at IEM.

Huk hasn't proven anything special is all. I don't have anything against him personally (besides the stuck up attitude sometimes). Saying I wish I could have the same chance is a stupid insult. I play this game for fun, I'm not playing for a living. I couldn't care less about being a top player. For me personally, if he fixes the attitude and shows strong play, then I have no reason to not like him. When i was a budding guitar players,i could shred so fast in my room, that yngwie malmsteem pieces were easy to me. I moved to Thailand, and i joined a band. First few shows i was playing like pure garbage. I was afraid, i didnt know how to deal with the crowd, i looked awkward. I suddenly felt like, you what man, im a good guitar player, i have a great style, and im an handsome muthafucka, i can do this. I started to play solidly in front of the crowd, and the band knew it would happen, it just take a while to process the fact that the crowd is not against you, and it just take time to adapt . If you look at Huk`s stream, he`s just the same. Good alone, but he needs to adapt to the playing in public part. You just take a look at his face when he was playing and it was evident that he was nervous as hell. When he`s going to be able to master that aspect of playin pro SC2, he`s going to be a very solid player. I didnt want to aggregate the part where i talk about forum dwellers hating because they wish they could go pro, to you,so im sorry if i inducted you in error. And i`ll agree with you on a point: People here have an obsession with Foreigners, and they dream of the day when Europe or wherever else that is not Korea would dominate the Scene. I`ve read quite a few opinions on the TSL section that flirted with blatant xenophobia. I personally gave no chance to Ret, Moonglade or Haypro to make it. Foreigners simply dont have the discipline, and as i always, that`s a symptom of white suburbia ( and i feel that asians that lives in the west are pretty much similar). But i pretty much thought that Huk had a chance because he isnt like that. It`s actually sad that you cant even perceive that.

Once he gets over that, we should see him at the top of Code A / bottom of Code S for a long time. He's a good solid protoss.

And poor Leenock. He deserves a place in Code S. I hope the kid doesnt give up, he`s talented. Yeah Leenock made a werid comment after taking out Yughio in the Ro32. Saying that he would have quit Sc2 had he been nocked down to code B. Given his age its really odd to hear him talk like that. I mean with him being so young, and so good at the game while not truly being able to play full time (and on a team where he's pretty much the best, rather than learning from elders. ) He didnt play well enough today, but hopefully he will continue on.

Squirtle being in Code B yet again reinforces that there is a great deal of luck in these placements. Subpar performance at the IEM... He only got third or fourth place, beating Sjow, Idra, Socke while being jetlagged.

Did you actually watch his matches against idra because that was definitely not "crushing", even disregarding the fact the series was 3-2 and it was the easiest matchup in the game

I'm not looking to make him look bad as he played well and was sure of winning at that point, but I found that fun.

For a korean progamer that's a subpar performance, esp when Ace, who's also code B, went 16-2 loosing only to Moon. I wasn't trying to prove that HuK is better than Squirtle or that code S player cannot lose against code B players. If they were to play a bo5 tomorrow maybe HuK would loose. I just don't understand why HuK gets so much flak and so little support on these boards.

Actually Squirtle has a loosing record against Socke, he did rape SjoW though but as good as SjoW is in the foreign scene he's no MVP yet, and Squirtle probably wasn't the only dude suffering from jetlag at IEM.

Ace, Squirlte and a countless of other progammers that arent in code a are actually better than alot of guy in Code S, guys like Bomber, Yongwha, ImHorror, Happy, DongraeGu ect.

I hate to say it, but I secretly hope IMMVP loses 2 nights from now just to see him mercilessly smash through Code A. (99.9% sure it won't happen though but you never know)
