I'm glad choya is out, he never really stands out for me.
Group 2 was a no brainer, its pretty clear whose top class and whose not. Leenock is good but no where near Nestea and MKP

Last season wasn't nearly as hard as this season though.

Still, Huk plays great on ladder. I just hope he performs better in GSL and shows us he can carry that incredible skill over to LAN. When he's on top of his game he deserves to be in Code S, too bad we haven't seen that Huk from code A games!

I'm glad Huk made Code S -- and I definitely think he's a stronger player than his performance in Code A and the Up/down matches showed. The mistakes that he makes in Code A/S matches are things that you never see from his replays.

He lost in Code A to Losira, who I think is probably one of the top 10 players in the entire world (and who I fully expect to be in Code S next season as well). I'd expect that Huk's play will be more consistent next season as his nerves calm.

Very glad to see MKP and NesTea (probably my favorite player) remain in Code S. Leenock was clearly wrecked by his own nerves -- shame he was placed into that group.

GOMTV is a disgrace, was watching Huk's games last night and the stream crashed for the whole of game 3. Even the entire website was down.

This is pathetic considering I also paid for a premium stream.

I am sick of using a 2nd rate media player (GOM Player), if GOM are having problems streaming then why don't they use JustinTV as an official broadcast partner?

Having now watched the games I dont think he played particularly bad at all. For one, If you guaranteed oGsInca could play PvPs all the way to the finals, he could actually win a GSL. He's considered one of the best PvP players in the world..the MU is kind of his specialty, which is crazy for anyone to say really.

Game 1 vs. Choya was brilliant by both players, but a good example as to why that matchup feels like a crapshoot. They kind of made a crapshoot look like a poker game though at least. Game two HuK played it well and made one mistake. Game three was just kind of ... PvP... them not crossing paths changed the whole game, but HuK showed excellent unit control. I felt like HuKs unit control was good overall, but a couple tiny mistakes reveal the unforgiving nature of the matchup.

His unit control and multi-tasking looked excellent though.. if he can clean up the dumb little mistakes he will go far. I'm confident that when he is done with Korea he will come home a much more accomplished player than Idra, which really isn't saying much because Idra's success in Korea was just a little higher than jack shit when you compare it to how he degrades his opponents skill after losing to them.

Also, the way Choya talks to himself in the booth, Lawls.

I feel so bad for Leenock. Hopefully next season he gets an easy group for Up/Down matches (because he will most likely make Top 8 Code A again). He definitely deserves to be Code S.

What matters are results, and HuK won his code S status. Regarding the fairness of being seeded into code A, I think a few Koreans that lost early in code A were seeded/invited to IEM as well. Starcraft is more fair than life.

HuK won a MLG against some of the best and people still doubting his skill? He's definitely a top protoss, some hijinks versus koreans but some of the best were trampled by "Code B" koreans. HuK earned his spot through blood and I hope he'll continue to perform.

Well, some of the best of the foreigner scene, I guess is what he meant. He earned his spot. Time to leave it alone and if you're a doubter, well you can have the last laugh when he doesn't do well, but for me I will be cheering him on in Code S and hoping we see more success!
