Either that or it's just a parody in which case it served it's purpose in making me laugh and thinking about how rich people are so much better off in life than the rest of us peons.

Snobby?? virtually any modern pop singer is dependent on a computer to assist with singing music and pretty much everything. I guess I might have missed the super deep meaning to pokerface or something

Other than that I agree completely.

Lady Gaga has done plenty of acoustic performances (she's a great singer) and writes all her own music. Pokerface may not have a deep meaning, but it is catchy and has good lyrics. (Not to mention that I expect Bad Romance to become a classic of our generation.) Even if you want to look at a singer like Kesha, her music is catchy, fun, and though her lyrics aren't exactly artistic, they are attention-grabbing and entertaining. It takes talent to write lyrics as Bad as the ones in "Friday." The melody is hilariously expressionless. The singer's pronunciation of "fraaaeeeday" is ridiculous. It's just all hilariously bad and is much worse than any pop music. If if weren't worse than normal pop, then it wouldn't be getting all of this attention. The only reason I can see why someone would try to deny that is because they want people to think that they have good taste in music by derailing the conversation and saying that all mainstream pop sucks.

The chorus annoyingly sounds almost like Husky's banelings song. Now I have that stuck in my head. Hmm...maybe that's a good thing actually. Husky's song is much better than this (not really my taste in music but I like the Starcraft parody songs).
