While reading this thread about the first video/computer game you played when you were younger, I had my game vividly remembered in my head but could not for the life of me remember the name of it! I've been searching on google for the past hour searching through gameplay images that match what I remember but failed to find a match. So I decided to see if anyone could help me or perhaps they played the same game and could enlighten me. All help is greatly appreciated!
If you could post a name of a game or a screenshot of a game you think it might be I'll take a look and confirm/deny. Thanks!
Here is what I remember:
- Computer Game - Mac
- I was playing it in 96' so it's fairly old
- It was a medieval setting, England(My bad it was France)
- Turn based game
- Had diplomacy features, everyone started with a castle, the food supply were these tiles of land designated as cows or wheat.
- The pope was in it, always asking for indulgences of gold-pissed me off ><
- You could fully customize your castle down to the tiniest detail
- If you attacked someones castle the game had its own very cool way to prepare-could build siege vehicles, poor tar, battering rams and stuff.
I'll update this with games that it is NOT:
- Age of Empires
- Civilization
