Results for February 15 – February 28, 2011
Greetings and welcome to the first edition of International Tournament Roundup! Sick of wading through countless threads, posts, and articles looking for recent SC2 tournament results? The TeamLiquid International Tournament Roundup is the one-stop shop for all of your tournament result needs, and it's coming to you twice each and every month.
It's never been a better time to be an SC2 fan. Don't be fooled, the GSL is great, but there's a massive amount of talent outside of Korea. Foreign juggernauts are battling it out in epic games, and in epic tournaments, on a daily basis. After all, our boys have more than proven that they can compete.
Who's the current top dog outside of Korea?

Top Dog
There's a ton of powerhouses outside of Korea, but who's this edition's top dog?
Let's take a look at which players have posted the most impressive results over the past 2 weeks.
Third
+ Show Spoiler [Third] +
HasuObs !!
His name only appears twice in this edition, but both of his appearances are lined with gold. HasuObs smashed through the scariest of all TeamSpeak TL Opens, snatching up the last qualification slot for TSL3. He also managed to bring home a Close Combat Cup.
Total Prizewinnings: ~$240
Runner-Up
+ Show Spoiler [Runner-Up] +
SeleCT !!
This has been a monstrous couple of weeks for Select, despite his lack of 1st place finishes. He rallied back from a loss with a team-game win against Fnatic in the GameCreds Invitational, and was the highest placing foreigner in the FXOpen Invitational, falling only behind two dangerous Koreans from oGs. Additionally, he placed top 3 in two consecutive Close Combat cups, winning one of them. Select was right on the edge of taking the honor of top dog, but his lack of serious gold cements him as our runner-up.
Total Prizewinnings: ~$340+
Top Dog
+ Show Spoiler [The Top Dog] +
DIMAGA !!
It was close, but the edge in this had to go to Dimaga. He took the gold home at the highly overlooked SC2tv.ru/Gametrix Invite Tournament and finished 2nd in the highly competitive Rage Gaming Open. He also won Go4SC2 cup #83, and walked away with the bronze at Close Combat #18. Dimaga continues to show solid results across the board, making him this edition's top dog!
Total Prizewinnings: ~$530
Medal Podium
Note: only players with multiple podium appearances are included.
Next Edition: mid-March 2011!
