Writing a story about being a progamer

The title says it all, i've been interested in writing a story about being a progamer of Starcraft in korea. I'd like to know which game should i write about? Starcraft 2 or Broodwar, and would people mind telling me about the places around the stadiums and Seoul so i can get a better view of what life may be like there? It's going to start off with "me" being lost in Incheon International Airport, then accidentally bumping into someone awesome and asking for directions and stuff, so i'll need how to get around Incheon International Airport too haha.

PS. it's going to be a fanfic which may include kpop idols haha mostly females obviously = P

I would say BW. I watch a lot more SC2 personally, but it just seems like BW has a lot richer history and culture (deservedly so, considering the ages of the games). There seems to be a lot more to BW progaming in Korea than SC2 right now, with teams, practice houses, multiple leagues, rivalries, etc. SC2 is in its infancy, BW is mature.

BW.

BW pro gaming scene is much much more richer and exciting than SC2.

In BW you have Jaedong/Flash rivalry, teams rivalry, Bisu revolutionism, Nada dominance, Savior treason, Hyungjoon noobness, Nal_Ra, Reach, Yellow, Boxer, and so on.

In SC2 you have herp derp GSL and... well, nothing more.

You could be like, stumbling around Incheon airport when your vision suddenly shifts... you're suddenly in the KT house, in a private room with a mechanized Flash. Recalled by Stat's Arbiter.

He'll be like hurrurhrurhur you'll assist me in dominating the BW scene... and the entire world.

And then Bisu and Stork could be like NOT SO FAST, and they could be dressed as ninjas.

But they can't get in cause Flash has tight walled in his room door so they can't bust in.

BUT WAIT... Jaedong doom drops in from the window and TaekBangLeeSsang get into some massive Starcraft-fu fight with many explosions, ending with you jumping out of the KT Rolster house slow mo backed by an explosion.

Someone grabs your hand. It's Hyungjoon. He's like yo wanna be in my Progaming team I'm forming one~
