I'd stay in Sweden.
Free healthcare, decent taxes, the best internet connections in the world, decent amount of jobs, overall good standard, fresh apartments and such, drinkable tapwater, good food, good social security system etc etc. And good looking women!
I would like to reduce immigration a slight bit tho.

Have you guys noticed that 90% of the people who say 'USA', are already coming from the USA? I guess they've never been abroad or something :S

This.
Although I wouldn't mind living in a warm country like Australia during this winter

Definitely stay in the UK its the best place for music and aspiring artists, maybe the Netherlands for obvious reasons, USA third choice because apparently my accent plays over there. And finally Australia because BBQ land beats all other cuisine.
Oh and Brighton is ok, a bit gay but quite nice otherwise, people there generally assume you are gay unless you wear a badge saying 'I DON'T LIKE SAUSAGE' JK. But it is the gay capital of a country that legaised gay marriage some time ago.

Why is Japan so popular? I also want to move to Japan, but I dont know why. I imagine it has very nice nature (outside the cities), awesome culture and technology, but this is just what I believe it is, I have no facts what so ever.
And people saying Norway or sweden, you got to understand how extremely crap these countries are. Norway a little worse then Sweden, but its basically the same shit. Norway has so many laws, and you cant do shit here. Police in Norway is a joke, nobody in their right mind have respect for them, and its cause they have to uphold stupid laws like 4000dollar fine if you are caught with a whore. Simple stupid shit like that. You think Norway has awesome nature and rivers ? Lolol, we rape our rivers, and our Fjord is raped by cruiseships dumping their waste in it. And since we have raped all the rivers, the Fjord cant clean it self, it just stays there. The crabs in our Fjord, have green legs lol, like a freaking baneling cause of all the toxic waste is being pumped in it from ships. Norwegians are the most cold hearted solitary humans I have ever witnessed, we can only competently be social when we are extremely drunk. At busses, we sit as far away from people as possible. Also we dont care about our parents, family life in Norway is actually looked down upon, its the age of single mother and single people now.. To bad you cant and wont get a loan to buy a place if you are single. Our social system is a nightmare, its like they picked retards for the job, who has no clue. Oh, our social system and healtcare (which is in the newspaper often for its incompetence) only costs about 50%+ effective tax.
Welcome to Norway.. Cant wait till Im economically fit to get out of this shithole.

I am perfectly happy in the Netherlands. We aren't as socialistic as scandinavia ( luckily ) and we aren't very right wing either ( moderation is the key ! ) I like the culture I even like things like Rembrandt!!! And I am only 17 haha. I love it that we are in general very direct and tolerant and we got pretty girls the mix between south europe and north europe a lot of models actually come from the Netherlands for this reason.
Btw to the guy that said Germany had pretty girls man have you ever been there? I've been there a couple of times and I have never seen that many ugly girls in my life lol.

errr... what a hippie^^ haha. What are you 12 and an activist? rofl Anyways, Japan I think. I liked Tokyo when I was there and wouldn't mind having to learn a new language.

Ukraine = Best girls I ever seen. Holy shit ;] Otherwise Aljaska or Canada because of nature there.

I'm really happy with Switzerland. Sure there are bad things, but what country hasn't it flaws? If i had to choose something else I would go to a country similar to mine like the Scandinavian ones.

I would choose somewhere in Scandinavia if it wasn't for the language barrier, though I could probably pick up german I already speak a little. Canada probs 2nd most reasonable english speaking country. I don't want to live in a country that may teach creationism to my future kids or has no universal healthcare or a horrible national reputation so America is out. I don't want to live in a country that is ruled by a monarch so Britain is out.
I would like some insight on why Americans are so gullible as to take creationism seriously. In the words of the joker "why so religious?". I would live there out of curiosity, but never raise children there. In a place as complacent and oppressive of freedom of expression as America. In what way does America oppress freedom of expression?
Not in a way that is particularly harsh in comparison to some countries. But in comparison to Scandinavian countries It seems like Social pressure and general ignorance about political ideas makes it difficult to express and honest opinion. Persecution of atheists would be an example of social pressure keeping mouths shut and pens unused. I have heard its pretty bad. And seen some very bigoted mainstream news. I live in Australia so I only have data, American media, and second hand anecdotes to go on.

As for where I would move if politicians finally fucked up everything around here. Southern, Central France maybe beacuse of how beautiful it is there. Canada because it is again beautiful country that is reasonably managed. Germany because it is well run and culturally close. China for some time because it is awesome

I have heard only good things about Switzerland, so I have that country in mind. What is the flaws you are talking about? How is the media culture? I mean, is the media culture like in England, where they hang people out to laugh and critisize etc?

Well you should understand that all countries satisfy your reasons for why Norway sucks. It is just that other countries suck in those regards much more (most of them).

Beautiful country Full of mountains, forests and lakes. I love hiking, skiing, fishing, rock climbing, caving, mountaineering, so hooray. Also has a decent welfare system (I like the safety net, just in case my employers go bust and I struggle to find another job) and I don't care in the slightest how high the taxes are. I don't care about extravagance
It's also a big country, with a relatively small population. I despise crowded places, and big cities. I'm also more suited for colder climates. I go crazy in prolonged periods of hot weather.
agreed. id want to live at svalbard. I am kinda drawn towards the arctic and north, I don't know why, so living for some time in Longyearbyen would be cool. But I don't really like to live in a place which is so dependent on trade to maintain their living conditions. No vegetables, no fruits and not even wood... If I had to stay in the place for the rest of my life with no coming back I'd chose New Zealand.
