There are these two friends of mine, friend X, and Y. Friend X started playing Starcraft 2 in november while friend Y just started two weaks ago. Amazingly in there first 1v1 game against each other, friend Y wins with a early roach push (Note:they both play Zerg). Friend X starts bitching that roaches are too op and that he was marcoing up which wasn't fare for friend y to rush him.
When they both play again, friend X wins this time, friend Y admits defeat like a man, but friend X start bitching out what friend Y did wrong when friend Y already know what he did wrong. Friend X later tells friend Y to stop acting like idrA (lol) because friend Y is raging at friend X for rubbing why he lost in friend Y's face.
Later that school day friend X tells our group of friends that friend Y was acting like a girl because apparently friend Y was on an "adrenaline rush rage that was making him look like he was on a period"
They start cussing at each other now, sadly I'm stuck in this scenario now because i'm good friend with them both. And i play SC2 too. They both tell me there side of the story which is making my head explode because I don't know what to do.
Oh all mighty Teamliquid, what should I do?
(Note: Both players are bronze Zerg. Friend X was in gold by 6 pooling all his placement matches then got dropped to bronze because he was horrible. [He made an excuse that he did it for the lols and that it's easier to get wins if you play against noobs] He is also known for acting like a douchebag most of the time.)
PS. We're in High School, grade 11.
PPS. Friend X is a better player then friend Y, because he has played longer then friend Y
Edit:Friend X has now posted this IdrA smack talk on facebook.

tell em to grow the fuck up

smash both of them and tell them they suck

Sounds like you need actual friends.

Like you said, it sounds like friend X is kind of a douchebag. He's in no position to be telling Y what he did wrong if he is a horrible bronze level player like you said. Sounds like Y took his win in style, and did the right thing by admitting defeat and realizing what he did wrong. Tell X to shut his mouth and just play the game, he's in no position to sling shit in either case

Organize a bo5 grudge match and have it streamed live for our amusement.

Take the moral high ground and play bw

You have a right to tell him to stfu because he's acting like an ass, your skill in sc has nothing to do with it. He's putting unnecessary strain on your friendship and he needs to just grow the fuck up and act more mature.

He helps me out with my homework and shit = P

Zing!
From your info though, OP, I must pose the same question Megalisk does >< Surely your friends should be above this kind of bickering? o__o

I really doubt you'd lose him as a friend if you just asked him to keep his cool about these sorts of things. If he really is unwilling or lashes out at you for asking a simple thing like that, it might be worth considering jumping ship

Tell Friend X he's being unreasonable and if he keeps doing it then stop being friends with him and hang out with Friend Y instead. Friend Y sounds a lot nicer and a lot better of a person Obv this is based off very little information haha but that's just my interpretation.
Looks like other people thought the same XD. But anyway, Friend X should be glad that he now has a rival and they can train/improve/talk about the game together . . .

sounds like elementary school to me, smack your friends and tell them to quit being babies.
|
tell them to chill out and learn from each other instead of fighting. they can both get out of bronze if they help each other out instead of crying about who's the better bronze player.
|
MMMMM maybe let them keep fighting, while u snatch all the girls.
WIN WIN

It's just a game. Chill out.
