Are there any offline functions for an ipod touch? As long as you're near a wifi connection, great. But otherwise, its feels useless.

if you jailbreak (I haven't, I'm waiting on the 4.2.1 update), you can run SNES/GBA/NES games. I hear PSX and N64 emulators are out there as well, though I don't know how they handle. | ||

There are plenty of great things to do with your touch, that said I wouldn't read books on it as the screen rapes your eyes. | ||

nethack looks awesome, thanks myopia. I know the snes emulator is choppy as hell, but the nes and gba emulators are decent. | ||
