It is not impossible, but way more unlikely that mafia would clash this much. Mafia doesn't want to be linked together in general, and in this game being unique even grants them benefits. A total of 18 players clashed, and unless mafia had super psychic powers, they wouldn't contemplate this much clashing. This means that unique numbers are highly suspecious, ie. Deconduo on 4, kenpachi on 7, kitaman on 9, and myself on 13.
While mafia might not have blanketed the high numbers in hope of some of them to get lucky, there is a better chance of them getting the single unique numbers 4 and 7 out of the masses that picked numbers in the 1 to 7 range.
Kitaman's nightkill can be controlled by town, and if he acts up we can lynch him. Same goes for deconduo. This leaves kenpachi and myself to be heavily scrutinized.
As such i have a fos on kenpachi.

I did not get the role I asked for.
Mafia must have some way of manipulating the picks.

I think looking into the draft numbers might be a lost cause. Don't forget that it would be in the best interest of the mafia to follow the plan. This ensures that they receive a role. I wouldn't be surprised if the more unique combination (higher ups) are mafia, but to be honest that's good player strategy to achieve a unique combination that throws them up to the top. People who have double are _less_ likely to be mafia, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't put down the same numbers to alleviate some suspicion.
The draft process was too transparent, so infiltration by the mafia is highly likely.

Mafia must have some way of manipulating the picks. You are first spot. Can you please confirm with Ace?

Are you joking? There's nothing in the rules about that, it clearly states: "Starting with the first player in the draft you can pick roles."
So you're either being funny, or trying to cover your role. Add that to the fact that you said you don't really wanna pick CPR and you look scummy as hell. Ace, is there any way that the first player in the draft order could NOT get any role that he wanted?

I think its more likely Ace made a small mistake, trying to clear this up now.

Yeah, it was a wrong role PM. panic over lol.

That would be balls. We need the CV to confirm his/her role, so we know exactly how much kp we are dealing with, and whether it can be town guided or not.
On a side note, it would be wise for doctors to take into consideration: 1. LSB's list to get a general idea of our strong roles 2. Our good players, as they seem to get sniped more then blues in recent games
You know just throwing that out there.

In addition, if you picked traitor and did not recieve it, please claim. I suspect it was due to Ace re-posting the draft order.

He gets first pick, he can pick any role. It is impossible for him "not able to get the role he wanted".
It only makes sense that Ace sent in the wrong PM, or else deconduo would be an instant first kill target for me.

Will we know how people died at night, for example from gunshot or defibrillator? Or is that what Ace meant by no clues? Because if we do get to know stuff like that it will basically nullify CPR doc as he absolutely will not be able to use his power without getting lynched the next day.
Also, FoS on decon until ace confirms that he got wrong role/other mistake.

Also, FoS on decon until ace confirms that he got wrong role/other mistake. I don't believe so. But we do know that there are only 2 KP roles the first night (Mafia and SK), so if three KP worth of people are killed/hit, we would know that something was wrong.

What I meant is, it's safe to assume it was a PM error. Or else it would just further support the following.

I'm not going to clarify anything.

We don't know how many SK's is/are in the game. It's safe to assume there is at least 1, maximum 2 (pushing it), or else this game would just go nuts.

Well if Ace doesn't admit to screwing up the role PM then I believe it's a fair shot to lynch deconduo.
I mean, deconduo made a mistake based on PM from Ace. If Ace had made a mistake, then he would've said so, since it's really not part of the game. And I still don't like deconduo's decision to not pick the CPR. So yeah, add that to this apparent lie, and we have ourself a day 1 lynch.
And if it turns out dec wasn't lying, then we can just blame it on Ace. It's practically win-win!
|
I think deconduo would make a great bullet bill check candidate, since his role is pretty useful.
