I can't believe this shit! my account got hacked! HACKED! WTF?! I don't even play WOW anymore! the shit my characters have from like 6 months back is even valuable anymore! WTF?!
I'm so fucking angry right now, this is ridiculous, what is wrong with people to steal over a goddamn video game thats not even that good after you play for a little while.
I just wish I could find who did that and just beat their faces in! ugh, its those goddamn gold selling bastards that shit up every server. I was supposed to be free of them now! My account isnt even friggin active! WTF?!?!?!

A+ blog! Will read again.
However, the first paragraph did not make sense. That's like saying someone stole your old rusty tricycle that you haven't rode for years and you're pissed at the world because someone stole it.

If your accoutn is worthless and whatnot, why are you so angry?

|

|
email blizz they'll get it back to you in a few days if you don't have a wow account its no problem happened to me once.
|
the problem is I do have a wow account, i havent played wow in like 6 months and havent logged on in 3-4 months (i used to log on and fly around and chat with friends) but the thieves cant even access my wow account unless they buy a gamecard and activate it. This is horrible, how am I going to survive with no SC2
this is supposed to happen to other people >< you always see it happen but it never happens to you, especially not when you don't even play wow anymore.
god im so angry and annoyed. my password is worthless now, thats my TL password i gotta change, my Gmail password, my steam password, i have to change all my passwords!

Next time you might wanna change the passwords first before letting the dude know everything important in your life is controlled by one password.
And also, make sure your computer is clean first, 'cause he'll just key-log the new passwords, too.

The same thing happened to me last summer... except sc2 wasn't out yet so I just made a new bnet account when I got sc2. I know how you feel though, it really sucks

I'm pretty damm sure he's doing it just in case y'know, not like he actually has all those things on the same password (amirite, PLEASE?)

Blizzard's account recovery is so easy, just retrieve your password or call them up. Then, order an authenticator if your Battle.Net account means that much to you.
|
I bet you replied to one of those spam emails saying your account had been hacked and now it is lol. Seems far more likely than an inactive WoW account miraculously being compromised. I havent played in over a year and get tons of fake emails saying i've been hacked.

It's not impossible for people to hack your account using keyloggers. Even if it's inactive, it doesn't matter, because the account (bnet and WoW) is the same.
|
You got hacked because your email has been hacked. I'm also guessing you have a hotmail account. If you look at your sent emails, you'll see thousands of spam emails that your email has sent out.
|
I dont know why you are freaking out soo hard like this. Just contact blizzard and they will most certainly retrieve it back for you. All you need is ID proving you are who you say you are, and they will give it back. The good thing about bnet accounts is that they are under your real name etc, so its very easy to verify that its you with a few pieces of ID. Call them right now.

doesnt mean I dont have the right to be pissed off about this, does it?

This.
Or if you have a Smartphone you could use the application that is available for it.
Being pissed about it is all fine and dandy in my book tho I'd worry more about how they hacked your account in the first place.

You can be pissed off, or you can be thankful that your banking information wasn't stolen and you're not missing thousands of dollars instead.
