Shakuras Plateau, close positions
Leenock hatches first. Rainbow expands after a barracks, then techs up to a factory for siege tanks and starts an early +1 weapons off three barracks(TRR). Leenock gets his lair, a baneling nest, and a spire. Rainbow uses a new starport to make a viking. He also starts +1 armor and stim. Leenock expands. Rainbow starts pushing through the rocks that separate the mains, building almost ten turrets as he slowly inches up. After some nice micro on both sides, Rainbow manages to kill Leenock's lair. At this point there are turrets and tanks entrenched in Leenocks main, so he is forced to gg.
This was a great push by Rainbow. He had a plan, and steamrolled across the map with it.

Anypro goes for a three gate blink rush. Genius goes for a more standard three gate robo. Anypro misses his blink! After seeing the first blink Genius lays down three perfect, sight-denying forcefields, which allow him to get two immortals out. Anypro, seeing his strategy fail, expands and falls back to his base. Genius gets blink himself. He totally jukes Anypro at his expansion and takes out the nexus. Then he moves into the main, and Anypro concedes.
Superb control by Genius. Also, blink against blink seems like a nifty strategy.

Rainbow builds two marines, two marauders and bullies his way up Anypro's ramp. Rainbow brings a bunch of scvs with his next wave. Anypro eventually gets a void ray out, but, by that time, Anypro has only six probes left. He pokes with his void ray, but sees a bunch of marines, and leaves the game.

ST_Rainbow v NsPGenius
Shakuras Plateau, close positions
Rainbow gets a reaper, which is denied by a stalker. Genius gets a fast robo and observer, then expands. When his observer spots marines and tanks coming through the rocks, he cancels the nexus and starts with immortals. Genius gets a warp prism, picks up his immortals and sandwiches Rainbows forces, wiping them out with units to spare. The same situation plays out again a couple minutes later, except this time with scvs joining the fight. Genius holds again, and counter-attacks after expanding. His push is repelled but only after pretty significant damage. Rainbow tries one more push, and leaves the game when it fails.
Genius 3-0s out of a tough group. That same push that destroyed Leenock was smashed by Genius. The warp prism play with the immortals was pretty spiffy.

Jungle Basin
Leenock hatches first. Anypro looks like he's going to go with an early nexus, but instead pylons in the bottom of Leenock's backdoor ramp. All buildings involed eventually get canceled. Leenock instead expands to his side's lateral expansion. Leenock get a lair, spire, and re-expands to his back door. Anypro sticks to gateways, making six of them, getting blink and uprgrades. Leenock focuses on getting huge swarms of zerglings and mutalisks. Anypro just makes more and more stalkers against zergling/mutalisk, sending them to Leenock's third in groups of around twenty five or so. It doesn't work, and after a few such failed attacks, Leenock is significantly ahead in food. When Leenock finally attacks, he wins.
Hard to tell if this was a planned strategy by Anypro, or if he just made it up on the spot. He saw nothing but mutalisks and zerglings, and made exclusively units that do terribly against them in the numbers he was attacking with. Again, I remember once thinking that mass stalker might beat mass muta. But it doesn't.

Shakuras Plateau, cross positions
Both players stick to tier 1 and fast expand. Nada gets stim/shields off three barracks (TTR). MC starts a robo after four gateways. The initial forces of both players neutralize outside of MC's natural, with MC keeping a few stalkers alive. MC gets his robotics bay. Nada adds on a couple more barracks, starts + 1 weapons/concussive shells, and techs to starport for medivacs. MC takes his lateral third. Nada attacks again. MC loses his colossus, but wins the battle with a dozen stalkers left over. MC gets blink and two forges for +1/+1 as he adds on more gateways. Nada expands to his interior third, which instantly gets harassed by an ever-growing ball of blink stalkers. Nada gets ghosts. MC gets templar. Yet another big battle goes in MC's favor as chargelots and stalkers tear through marauders. MC takes his forth and attacks Nada's third. When Nada loses the scvs at his third, he gg's.
MC continues his great play from December. The transition from colossus/stalker/sentry into mass warpgate chargelot/blink/templar was so smooth and efficient. Nada was the aggressor in all three confrontations, and lost each battle pretty convincingly. MC was also able to out-expand Nada, which tells me that MC better understands the timings of this match up.

Nada makarrackses (Double triple word score, double letter score on the 'a' and 's', bingo bonus: 302 points)*. Inca proxies a... robo. Nada goes for an early concussive shell marauder rush, following up with a reactor, stim, and a command center. Nada's first units get forcefields out, prompting them to return to his base. Meanwhile, Inca has devoted a lot into chronoboosting out three immortals. Inca's infantry joins up with the immortals to push Nada's army up his ramp as he himself expands to his natural. Nada's control is a little bit better and successfully defends the top of his ramp, but Inca sets up a solid contain that will last for a good chunk of the game.
Inca get his robotics bay. Nada techs up to starport for medivacs and finally lands his extra command center at his back door. Nada drops the empty main of Inca. Inca counterattacks, but loses a lot to Nada's concave, including all but a single colossus, and retreats back into a containment position at the bottom of Nada's ramp. Inca expands to another main as his third. Nada starts ferrying units down to his natural. Inca catches wind of it and attacks Nada's forces as they are trapped behind the mineral line. Nada loses his ground army, but his vikings kill all the colossi. A confrontation at Nada's ramp results in a victory for Nada and allows him to finally break out of his base and take out the proxied robo- along with the rest of Inca's army. Nada follows up by rolling into and over Inca's natural, which makes Inca leave the game.
Inca seemed pretty upset in his booth after losing from such a strong position. Nada just had better control and made better decisions. It was pretty impressive for Nada to break out of a colossus contain with just marine/marauder/viking after starting viking production so late in the game. I think it all started going downhill for Inca after he panickedly attacked up the ramp in response to Nada's drop. He unnecessarily lost three colossus to marauders when he impatiently engaged them at close range despite having thermal lance. The proxied robo was pretty cool, though. Since a big problem with colossi and immortals is their speed.
*This is opposed to just 266 points for 'makaraxes.'
Nada wins.

Nada goes for an early concussive shell and a reaper, followed soon after by a command center. Inca one-gate expands. Nada adds on three more barracks (TTRR) and starts stim/shields. Inca goes three gate robo/robo bay. John eats Tasteless's bagel. Nada's first marine/marauder push takes out Inca's second nexus and retreats. Inca just did not have enough ground forces, and cast some pretty terrible forcefields, which Nada just walked around. Nada gets two starports which steal reactors from the two barracks. The displaced barracks both build tech labs. One starport makes vikings, the other makes medivacs. Nada starts +1 weapons and expands to his gold.
Nada gets up to seven barracks with his huge economy. Nada takes a forth and attacks. Inca has some much better forcefields this time and defends easily, doing a lot of damage to Nada's army. But Nada takes a fifth, and a sixth, while setting up a huge marauder/medivac/viking army outside Inca's base. Inca tries to break out once he is maxed, but fails and packs his bags for the up and down matches.
Interesting how similar Nada's strategy was to the one he used against MC. In the game against MC, Nada had three barracks against four gateways and lost. In this game Nada had four barracks against three gateways and won. I think this really says something about how fast it is safe for protoss to tech against terran, and vice-versa. It was great to see Nada take the entire map once he got ahead, and start to set up static defenses/sensor towers in the middle of the map.
