Thank you, it's greatly appreciated. Glad to see TL is strong enough not to be self-conscious about other, smaller SC communities.

What really irks me about this was that this was the site that was the staging platform for the HDH2, which was supposed to be the bestest tournament evar. But now it looks like we'll miss the opportunity to see such a tip top tourney.

Well on the "bestest tournament evar" (outside of the GSL, anyway) front we will have TSL3 now, at least

Didn't they already cancel the HDH2? :o

If there was a argument between them then all of this with the tourny dropping and sca and then them being so unresponsive to the community (sca) is very immature.

As much as i love HD and Husky are as commentators SCA is something that should be continued under a different set of admins. Their non-existent presence wasn't a factor why we liked the SCA forums so much.
They might of been the reason why we joined the forums, but they certainly aren't the reason why the community is so great.

your one of those glass is half full kinda guys aren't you, and on a serious note i completely agree would have been fun to the HDH2 work out but sometimes things just don't work out and thats ok

Here's the thing, we are not making another SCA. We are creating a new, albeit similar, forum that is independent of HD and Husky. We, or at least I, will continue to post as normal on TL. But thank you for harboring the SCA-only refugees.

HD sent me an email. OP has been updated.

Big fan of this post, actually laughed out loud.
Ya, I've never heard of SCA before though, how big was the community?

So damn true, I love TL for all the help it has given me, and the community is larger and comprised of 99% nice people. However SCA is superior in that the mods aren't warn/ban crazy.
At least 70% of all the warns/temp bans that I've seen on here seem ridiculously unjustified, imo anyway.

Roughly 15,000 members, but nly about 300 posters with upwards of 1k posts. It was a nice place. A sheltered place. It seems as though TL is the outdoors of Starcraft, really, with the wild animals, valuable resources, excellent experiences, and excercise that is good for you, but SCA was like laying on the couch and watching TV.
Different flavors, that's all.

its a shame that SCA is down. i quite liked the graphics and the fact that you can insert a picture for your signature. loved to see all the rankings of players who use that sc2sig thing. it even auto-updated itself everyday!

I call that inferior.
TL's mods are why this board's integrity is rarely compromised. More forum mods should be this strict. It keeps trolling and village idiots to a minimum.

Wait... This is the minimum?
