I think player quotes are meant to be cocky, in every game of this seasons OSL they've been similar style...

Btw: Looking at Hiya's game, you don't have to wonder anymore why Jaedong played against Light the way he did.

wth that game looks way more like canata vs jaedong than flash vs hyuk, he's got sooo waaaaaayyy too many turrets and when you think he's got more than enough he just keeps on adding; and this happens more than once.
I remember a pl playoff game last season between canata and shine i think where the former made less turrets than this but still got laughed at for way overcommiting.
i mean flash is like 20-30 food behind pretty early on and it just stays that way.
is this right or is the so called cold really getting to him, i mean this is hyuk yes and he should play safe but this is...
the turrets at the rax and then the main minerals, just god. either one looks like it could hold back 3 groups of muta simultaneously.

we've seen the hiya face 2000000 times in PL already. suffice to say, he's been garbage.

Not at all. If he just sat back, Hyuk would've been able to get defilers(and more macro), since he already had hive. And no matter how you look at it, defilers=gg. Flash basically counted on an all-in that didn't happen so he couldn't stop the incoming macroll.

and if he decides to build a valkyre why not wait for it before stepping out side with marines u knew there were many mutas since u build many turrets so why get out with marines uncharacteristic of him but than again ,its not the first time, in crucial games he tends to slip ..... the only weakness perhaps i see in him (come on u'r top elo in tvz and havnt lost to no zerg in ages and u had hyuk\!!!!!! 30 % zvt hyuk... 2 hatch muta,,,, flash ....) and that weakness denied him a 1 /soon to be maybe 2 titles shame.

...Hyuk did not play badly in that game. He seriously played that like a Jaedong disguised as a rookie.

I just saw the game through the vod that was just posted and hyuk played really really well. 2hatch muta comes like 90 seconds quicker than 3 hatch and it could flash off guard slightly. Flash couldn't scout inside hyuk's base with his scv iirc.
He also abused the wonderful ability of zerg to tech switch between muta->lurker->muta beautifully. Flash couldn't prepare for both due to losing scvs from the initial mutas and opening 8 rax. If flash even held off that last attack, hyuk would just tech to defiler and that's gg as flash had 0 vessels and 0 tanks.

Hiya is lucky that JD gifted him a win so he has a chance to move out. Don't disappoint JD!!!

Sometimes it's not a fancy build that has to take down Flash, sometimes you just gotta notice that he can't always defend an attack. It's kinda like Action: when their strength is in lategame, you have to cut them early to make sure they can't outplay you later. Also, this is probably the first game in a while in which you can really say that Flash played badly. Just something to note.

I will Eat a muffin and I will cry girly tears. So have you eaten a "muffin" and shed some girly tears yet? You have to give us some sort of documentation of proof that you have done these two things as you have promised before the match.... ^_^

Yeah, they're using Zerg favored maps to make up for the good Terran maps lately. It's certainly worked, looks like we could have 5 Zergs in the Ro8.Using balanced maps like Fighting Spirit would be nice... But hey, I'm a fanboy. Zerg favored maps are fine.
NOOOOOO Not the disaster that was Calm v. Kwanro/Jaedong v. Yellow. The 1st one was just not a super-attractive matchup+ZvZ. The 2nd one was just a roflstomp seeing Jaedong ZvZ against none other than a.....zerg.

He had zero tanks and basically would have had no way to stop the 7 lurkers from just running into the natural unless he poked out slightly to lay some mines. His valk just came too late to help his marines :\
