I'm sure some people are going to come out with the excuses that there was nothing he could do but it was all his fault in that game, no doubt about it. What was his gameplan going midgame with only 2rax, one valk and 2 vultures? but 20 turrets? I guess going to that extreme worked for him in that other game on the twilight map, forget who it was against. But here it just looked downright stupid. He put HIMSELF into an unwinable position against HyuK who simply had to play standard and not over-extend himself. He did the same thing (i mean 150 thousands of turrets) vs Modesty, and it paid off. :D Also, he seemed to be afraid of a 4 pool indeed, when he did that 8rax. Though, it's only now that I've noticed the natural can be walled with 2depot+rax. -____ | ||

I just saw the VOD. Hyuk played his ass off in that game. So scary. Nothing Flash could do. I dont get people who want Flash to slump. I want other players to step up and challenge Flash at the level he has shown this last year. This should be a massive confidence boost for hyuk. If he can apply his APM and refine his game sense id love to see him play more. | ||

So I was wondering in Stork's group is there a possibilty for a tiebreak? I only know Stork is 2-1 but I forgot the the other players results. | ||

The only possible build that would have worked against is Jaedong's all-in muta, and i think even then he could have bruteforced his way in somewhere like he usually does. But no one else ever even plays games like that (cause JD loses doing it sometimes annd looks silly), what gave him the impression that would even work? And once he had built the turrets, why did he continue to poke his mnm out of the front and slowly lose any mass he was gaining? If you're gonna turtle then you better have something impressive building up behind that turret line. I really cannot comprehend his usually-impeccable decision making there, it's madness. | ||

If you watch the VOD, at about 0:47 they start showing what both players said before the game. Hyuk says "I'll win, since it's KT", but Flash says "Paralysis fighting!". The commentators say that it's supposed to mean that since he'll defeat Hyuk, Paralysis will have to win his remaining game in order for Hyuk to advance. And now it really is "Paralysis fighting" for Flash, just not the way he thought it would be. ^____^ (Edited for spelling.) | ||

looks like Hydra owns the "ggaemo Hydras vs. Mines Challenge Cup" now and Flash vs Hyuk, don't know what to say, there is no scientific explanation for this | ||
