Stork
- You are on a 6 win streak in official games. (T/N: tlpd says 7?) ▲It doesnt mean very much, it was just good luck. I didnt face the teams respective aces, so is doesnt mean very much.
- You played on Aztec. ▲I dont pick which map to play on this season, because the matchups are not released beforehand, so I have to prepare for all 3 races. Aztec is protoss favored, so I played on it.
- Your thoughts on your match with Hyuk. ▲I didnt play him since the 2007 Spring ODT Prelims (T/N: seems like you forgot the match you lost on 09-10-17 , tlpd ftw). But we regurlarly practice together, so I know his style. He is on the same team as Bisu and Best, so he has an excellent ZvP, I'm very happy I won.
- You killed all his mutas with 1 storm. ▲I eradicated almost add his lurkers and lings near the (T/N: not specified whose) expo, so I felt I had the advantage. It was good to get rid of the mutas so easily, but it didnt have a big impact on the outcome of the match.
- Do you show good results in Proleague because the individual leagues started? ▲After the group selection ceremony I met my fans, I said that its good that the individual leagues started. This week I also have an OSL match, and with this momentum I think I can play well.
- You are already qualified for the OSL Ro8 with a 2-0. ▲Regardless if I win or lose, the probability of a tiebreaker is quite big. I'm good friends with Sea, so I hope he can win his match and proceed to win the tiebreaker.
- Your team finally made 0 game diff. ▲We finally made it after a year and half, it feels like an eternity. We have to make an greater effort to maintain the momentum when our team was doing well.
- You have great expectations for the third round. ▲There are more maps that I can play on than last Winners league, I feel I can achieve good results.
- Final Words? ▲I want to congratulate Juni on his win. Although I got the MVP today, I feel he deserves the team's MVP.
Juni
- You ended your 12 loss streak. ▲I'm very happy, but I shouldnt be happy too early. I got my first win at the end of Round 2, so it leaves something to be desired. But I am proud of myself today.
- It was very hard during your loss streak. ▲I never dreamed it would be like that. I practiced very hard but still lost, even thinking back maked me shiver. It felt very bad that I my play in practice and on TV was so different.
- Your thougths on your match with Canata. ▲I disregarded the possibility that Canata would open with a 8 Rax Bunker rush, so I prepared for other openings, but he deliberately did it. I scouted his base with mutas and saw he didnt have much resources, so I thought he must have gone for valkyries, so I still had a chance.
- During your loss streak many people were concerned. ▲Although it was tiring for me, I'm still sorry for my fans and my father and also my teammates and coaches. Even if I thought it was nothing my nothing felt bad, which made me sad.
- You almost set a new loss streak record. ▲I'm relieved I didnt set that record. I now have the same loss streak experience as other players, this will make me put more effort into my play.
- Final Words? ▲I didnt get interviewed for a long time, so I cant thank everbody one by one. [laughs] Many criticised me, but some still stood by me, I want to thank both. Criticising is still better than not caring. [laughs] I also want to thank my teammates and coaches. I want to be interviewed often to show my appreciation to my fans. Finally I really want to thank my father. Looking back on the fans that still supported me during my loss streak, I think I'm still a lucky person. I just got my first win in SPL and I get such a long interview, I feel embarassed. I will do better in the future.

Nice to see Stork give Juni some praise. The guy may not be a great player to some, but he does work pretty damn hard, especially with that wrist problem he had earlier (and he still played through it).
|
Thank you for the translation!
|
poor juni, that interview was pretty brutal
|
Lol, almost every question is about the loss streak. XD Who the fuck did that interview?
|
Fuck the interviewer man! Juni ALL THE WAY!
|
TYVM for the TN!
Hahahaha so many loss streak questions for Juni. Sort of sad that SKT1 lost though...makes me feel guilty that I LB'd SKT1 to win, and then MY TEAM ended up winning...(i.e. not enough faith in my team T___T)............
;_;

Thanks for the interview. Stork seems to be picking up his play. I would really love to see him in a bo5 against Flash in OSL.

Holy carp this.
If stork buffs up his SvT even more, it will be an amazing series.....!

SvT for the win! On the other hand, Stork has been tearing up zergs lately as well. It's so good to be a fan of Song Byung Goo. ^^

So, does anyone know why there aren't interviews for everyone?
Also I found this comment amusing; dunno if it'll work in Chinese though:
+ Show Spoiler +故人규 그는 프로게이머였습니다. Those two characters are homonyms of Canata's name but it also means 'deceased' :< Kind of mean though ;;

The first two characters in the spoiler are chinese. The rest are not. You're making stuff up now, aren't you -____-.

Thanks for the translations.
Classy from Stork to mention Juni. Juni's comments give us some insight into the mental challenge that goes with a losing streak of the magnitude he has recently gone through. I'm sure you come under a lot of scrutiny, and you can't help but doubt yourself. I would've preferred he broke his losing streak another day, but good on him for staying strong.

Yes, I'm making the stuff up. I suppose they will be pronounced the same in Chinese, but if they don't use the particular word, it won't be funny.
Perhaps I should not have mentioned it since only a small set of people can understand it, but it's worse to accuse someone of deception when one doesn't (attempt to) realize why it is funny in the first place.
