-In scbw, generally on iccup -In tournaments, which I never play -When the other opponents play legitimately impressed me, and I feel like that it was the reason that they won the game Unfortunately, these are all rare occurrences. Thus, I rarely gg.

If you're not gonna GG and leave the game, why bother saying GL HF in the 1st place? Don't say Good Luck Have Fun when you don't mean it. I had a ton of people who always say GL HF and then leave without GG'ing. It's better to not say anything

Everyone rage quits now and again. If there are any angelic beings out there who have gg'd every single game they ever lost, I commend that, but that kind of being is extremely rare or flat out doesn't exist. No, that's just someone who isn't arrogant. I always gg. It's manners, plain and simple. It doesn't have to make sense. It doesn't have to be literal. It shows you understand the rules of etiquette and are conscious of the other player. If you don't gg it means a few things: You never knew to gg (ie you're not part of this community/you've never watched progaming), you're too self-centred to respect the other player, or you're actually under the delusion that it's a value judgement. It really isn't. It's just showing your respect for the other player. If you think a player doesn't deserve your respect because he 6pooled you, or cannon rushed you, then you are arrogant.

Don't even GG my rl friends because I can get away with not being called BM or whatever, however I do usually give gg to my e-friends (except lolf f u chobo). This applies to both sc1 and sc2 for me. Edit: I do rage alot. Of course you wouldn't GG. GG stands for Good Game, don't you know that? It's not a good game if you can't survive my first 6 zerglings when I go hatchery first.
