Do you guys know what the most popular cities are that TL visitors are from? Maybe like top 5 or something? I always see the numbers for different countries but curious for specific cities.

@Chill
now that we are going into a more quiet period(Christmas/new year) do you think TL Attack will start again now that all the pro players aren't to busy with tournaments?
|
Can you show me a screen shot of the mod forum? Alternatively, whats the most popular thread in the aforementioned forum?

It may not appear like that from the outside, bu there is a lot of discussion before / after / around bans going on behind the scenes.

Are "professional's strategies" and "professionals' strategies" (referring to their collective strategies) correctly shortened to "pro's strategies" and "pros' strategies?"
Is the plural of pro "pros," akin to its longer version, or is it "pro's," similar to how other shortened words are made plural. I've seen it both ways in the decision making process (along with cons or con's) and I am curious. One style manual for added clarity on my conundrum. Here's a link to a possibly relevant section from Wikipedia.

Does TL try to keep a political standpoint neutral? Because since the fine bottom line tag + Show Spoiler +( "The opinions expressed by our users do not reflect the official position of TeamLiquid.net or its staff".) came I havent seen many mods / banlings participate in political discussions other than moderating the crap out of those who gets flamy

@RICH:
If you Search for GSL in the search field, results such as [GSL]*text* or [GSL Spolier]*text* wont show up. Can this be fixed?
|
Sure why not. Originally [ and ] were included in search matches for clan tags, but searching for bracketed titles in topic names is probably more important.

what is the funniest quote on TL? (not including the one above that is fucking hilarious (and very, very wrong))
edit: and i just relised that the first post on this thread is will you let the view all function work on threads with more than 50 pages, and look its the 50th page here!! how anything amuses me....

I've lost some of the desire to post like I used to but that happened before I became a banling. Arguing with people who use documentaries as their main source of information takes its toll on you.
Ninja edit: The current Mastercard/Wikilinks thread is a good example. I commend JWD for trying to do it, but ultimately combating that much ignorance isn't worth the effort. If it was an important enough issue or a positive discussion, I might join in but I have better things to do than teach people the basics of political science/international relations/history/logic.

Pro tip: if you're writing a paper on Hiroshima or the end of WWII, look for a giant thread with me, KwarK and Moltke in it.

Like do you have a tool that lets you look at ALL the newest posts and there is a button you can press to mark that you've looked at it? That way the mods don't have to redo the work that other mods have done (of course they could if they wanted to... maybe just a counter instead of a mark). Does each individual post get marked, or are threads just marked up to a certain point? If you don't already have something like this then I guess it's just a suggestion, but if you do I am curious to learn a little about it Memory.
We have a report feature that tells you if there's "open reports" but that's about it. TL moderation is like a group of lone wolves that come together to discuss their kills at the end of every night.
