Terrible armor fleet as always, this time without logi, sucks we dont have anyone on. They also have a neutral claw for a warp-in so be careful. I go to sleep one time and for the first time in 10 days they get a fleet to emol, what's up with that?

Thanks ccp for making bad idea choices into good ones. Also Goonswarm lost a Titan apparently. BUT WTF GORDON WRU ON IT. I was afk like a retard. Sigh~ Third titan kill i've missed in a couple weeks. I will say however that I may or may not be featured in the upcoming PL movie release.

Sucks if it's the last guy I talked to because he was really unhappy about his last lost. In fact I think that was the reason he quit EVE-U the last time.

Has PvE changed much? PvE is still the same, it's fun for a while, for some things you need a corp, for some you don't, but after a while you get tired of doing the same stuff over and over again and you branch out to other things in eve, and pve content becomes just a way to have a steady income. To summarise Missions: lvl1/2/3/4, 1/2/3 is just there to grind standings to get to lvl4's, and lvl4's are fun for a while, but when you get The assault/gone berserk/whatever for the 100th time you feel like clawing your eyes out and you just run them when you need the isk. The only change here is that they plan on adding in more missions, but that is just a band-aid fix, and it's prolly gonna be a long time before they add sleeper ai/better ai to those. lvl5: Can be done solo in certain ships/fittings but usually these are done in groups (or dualboxing), found almost completely in low-sec and generally not done a lot since these are against other factions most of the time and thus mainly give tags/lp and a nice decrease in faction standings with the guys your shooting Exploration: High-sec: not worth doing, in 0.5 you might find some 3/10's or the very occasional 4/10 if you get really lucky (and radar/magneto's are also not much in HS), and everything is just overfarmed in HS Lowsec/0.0 here you find some more interesting stuff, higher DED rating plexes, some ladar sites, radar/magneto's that can give some good stuff if you get lucky. But then you should know what your doing or be in a corp that operates in low-sec/0.0 and even then it's just for the money (with the change that it's more of a lottery then steady income) Where exploration get's interesting is wormhole space (where I have lived for about a year): C1/C2's can be done solo in a well-fitted battlecruiser (depending on your race) C3's can be done in certain HAC's and t3 cruisers C4's can be done in t3 cruisers with expensive faction fits, but mostly they are done in small gangs C5's/C6's are done in Remote rep BS fleets with sometimes carrier support to spawn some extra sleepers This content is challenging (well at first atleast, especially C6's and warping in a carrier can be good fun), and actually fun to do, but keep in mind that wh-space is 0.0 space without local, so you better know what you are doing in an environment like that, and these days it's very hard to find c1/c2/c3's that are still worth doing (most of them are habited by small corps, and most of the time don't have any sigs left in them). And with incursion there will be the sansha incursions, Sansha's will take over a system, you have to go clear them out, they have better AI (sleeper-like) where they emulate players in termfs of fits, so they will use EW/remote-rep/etc they will switch targets and so on. And it's a bit a sort of classic mmo-raid content like, in the sense that you have to do certain objectives (the movie I saw they had to like use 2 ships with a codebreaker to hack 2 things after wich they could attack the carrier, etc) So there will be a bit more tactics involved then just "shoot stuff" and there is a "boss" aka the sansha supercarrier. But this content will be done completely in group/fleets. But ye, generally (except for the incursions that are coming) pve content is just a way to gain income, so you have the resources to go blow up stuff in pvp (since that is basicly where eventually the combat oriented pilots drift towards, since at a certain point pve-content just stops being challening/interesting). note: This is my opinion, I know that there are a lot of people out there who are just full on carebears who do nothing else then farm lvl4's and do the occasional exploration, and just only do that (and their main goals are just to get more shiny/faction fitted ships). If you have done the pve-content in the past (I can't remember exactly, but the orca got introduced roughly aroudn the time wh-space was introduced or a bit before) see this post just as a "no, nothing has changed except that incursions will be coming :p )

Also RR legions seem decent for WH's too. ~50% IIRC more reppage than a Guardian w/4 large 'solaces' I was also told that dual box tengus in c3/c4 is easy 100-150mil+ an hour (provided I can find some salvager) and wormhole life is pretty much the last thing in Eve I haven't tried yet. The good drops in missions have been nerfed by CCP and no longer give out the good implants/mods/spawn faction BS as much as before. CCP has also buffed faction ships, and the Machariel right now is one of the top boats to do missions efficiently in. In Incursion I'm more interested in the LP store. Meta capital mods among other things sound very tempting considering there will be high demand for them in the first few weeks. However, the way LP is being rewarded at the moment will make it interesting in 0.0 and low sec for when it does hit.

Our main goal for the corp was PvP, not being carebears, so skilltraining for all the different people was very different, so even if tengu's were better at it, it wasn't worth letting everyone skill for that while it's only an activity to make some isk, and everyone could fly a decently fitted RR BS anyway, and it was a bit of practice for the newer people for RR bs gangs. And yes solo C3/C4's (well dualboxed, but the isk is still going to one person) gives a good amount of money, if you can find a C3/C4 with a good amount of anomaly's and clear the whole thing you can easily rake in 1bil or so (since the blue blocks that the sleepers drop are actually worth something in c3/c4, so that is a good amount of income, the rest is then hope that the nanoribbons decide to drop in a good amount, or whatever is worth the most now, it's been 7 months now since I went into wh's) And yes the Tengu is definatly FOTM for all pve-content basicly, but for WH's, we had enough guys solo'ing C3's in legions/loki's (and untill the t3 production was there, people did it in hac's, etc). Only the proteus is just awfull For ships/fittings it comes all down to what you can fly, what alts/corpmates you have, so I just gave a basic idea for what is needed for those, so if anyone would read that they didn't try to do 1's in a frig or c4's in a cruiser/whatever. And for the rest, yes everything you say is all good and well, but the point I was trying to convey is that only a really small amount of people do only PvE as their main activity, since over time the content just isn't challenging or fun anymore, so people just use pve as a source of income for other activity's. Since if I wanted to describe every little aspect of it, such as best ships for it, fittings, incomes, etc I would prolly be still typing tomorrow (and there are probably some good guides out there from people who are more specialised in certain fields and thus have much better knowledge of them) any way, the guy asked how pve content was this day, and that was my description/view of it :p

Heat Dissipation Field II BPO up for auction Should be a steady earner and it's within our price range if we set up a hatchery investment fund. Thoughts? Or some of these. http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1416656

Things only get easier the more pimped your ships become (t2 mods on my loki and I've never come close to dying). We make from 100-150mil/h each in a 5man group, depending on the mix of lokeis and tengu and the sites we're doing(some sites sleepers approach you to 15-20km and have lots of frigs and others sleepers maintain a 60km distance) I've seen c3's soloed in a drake(not even dualboxed), but it's slow as fuck since you need so much tank you only do 130dps with missiles. While one person from the corp runs c5's solo with his tengu(again, not dualboxed), but the fit is worth 2billion, however he runs 1 site in less than 1 hour and the average worth of a c5 site is 250mil(can go up to 300+ depending on how good your salvage is). He says it's pretty intense aswell because he needs to switch ammo around to kills frigs and such, sometimes his tank comes close to breaking but it's never been critical. C4's in that tengu on the other hand are like taking candy from a baby and you can run any site you want with it while in c5's he needs to pick the sites where the sleepers don't approach to 20km. The problem is that sometimes sleepers will RR each other and breaking the tank becomes a problem. P.S. Tengu is probably the best ship in eve atm, but it's heavily item dependant(and there for isk dependant) mostly for pvp and for high end pve(and it still runs lvl4's faster than most ships while being fit only with t2 mods)

I was just expanding on what you started =) Edit: Last BPO I saw up for auction was the Zealot one, where it was calculated the Zealot BPO would earn the maker 16 bil a year. I'm going to assume that Heat Dissipation BPO will earn a little bit less, so most likely you're looking at approx 2-3 years to earn that isk back.
