(for example, the highest selling price in jita for the learning skill had like a 40k-41k highest selling price in the last month, today after the change got announced it's already up at 1million, and something like eiditic memory has gone up from 4,5mil to 9mil, logic is already at 15mil and it will probably rise more once more people read about it, and the supply declines) If you just train learning skills untill then it gives a benefit, but if you don't it's actually slightly detrimental (but ofcourse training things for about 2 weeks is better then training nothing at all). if you do this and you can get the isk somewhere to do it, just make sure that you know what you are planning to do in eve and have a good sense of what you are gonna dump those SP's in you got from training learning skills untill then. (I would probably advice some basic support skills such as engineering/electronics/etc) since after the change training up something like frigate 4 will be really fast for a new player, and youll be happy that you have some of those "boring" support skills out of the way.

It would be completely illogical if that wasn't the case. Mmm, with all those skill points I could finish Gallente cruiser V and have all 4 racial recons trained w/relevant T2 dps skills. Or I could become a maxed out Tengu pilot (on both accounts) and go into C4 Wh's and earn 150mil+ isk hour, [possible need for hatchery salvage pilot if this ever happens!]

http://store.steampowered.com/app/8500/ So if you're looking for another account, or maybe trying to get a friend hooked, or maybe consider trying the game yourself if you're just lurking in this thread - it probably won't get cheaper than this.

So how would the dual trialling work if I did this? I should still make the 14 day for some fun time while the other acct trains, but should I request a 21 day from a TLer still? Thanks for the help

Thanks for the help You should definitely request a 21 day trial from a TL member. Win/win situation for both of you. I have no experience with buying EVE via Steam, but I guess it shouldn't be an issue and the account will be activated just as if you'd used another method. Regarding the "dual trialing": If you're new to the game, I don't know if getting a second account to actually play on while the first account is training is the best way to go. Learning and other basic skills are important, sure, but you should play the game and have fun, instead of waiting for some stuff to finish so you may eventually have fun some time else.

I won't benefit from a free trial, but eh.. I'll train faster than most everyone else in the long run.

Not as good of a deal as it looks though - since you could have 21 days free, you're essentially paying $5 for an extra week, which is about the normal rate.
