Have to say I'm really disappointed with his latest Hollywood movies..... His movies were the few new Chinese movies I actually liked, such as Shinjuku Incident.
Of course I've always loved the old (1980's-1990's) comedy/action stuff that used to be on TV every now and then, especially near Chinese New Year, starring for example Sammo Hung, (the only one I can remember because I'm not good with their names) are always good and better. Wonder why Chinese/Hong Kong movies now don't seem to make sense at all. Too dam many plot holes and ridiculous twists.
Have to say he isn't very tall but is really broad and muscular! Saw him from far a few years ago promoting his gym :D

Jackie Chan's first strike and Rumble in the Bronx pretty much define my childhood taste in movies.

I liked the Rush Hour movies. He was funny on top of amazing in those.

Please! List down any and all good Jackie Chan oldies! I was too young back then to remember any titles.

I started watching the new Karate Kid movie that just came out and was very pleasently surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Can't wait to get home from work to finish the other half. When I first heard it would be Will Smith's son as the Daniel character and Jackie Chan as Mr.Miagi I cringed at the thought of how bad it would be. But I have to admit from what i've seen so far they both do a really good job... i just hope the second half is as good as the first. It's really rare for a "remake" to be any good, but this might be an exception. I have much more repsect for Jackie Chan's acting skills now..
"Wax On, Wax Off" is now "Jacket On, Jacket Off"... LOL

Yeah, I didn't think that it would be too good either. Not that I think the original was amazing, but still I usually hate remakes.
Sidenote, Pay attention to the kid with the mohawk, he is a G yo. (Last few fight scenes)

He's already legendary for doing most of the stunts himself (well not so much anymore due to his age). A true action hero!
