Is there a way to get this player's character code? (so I could add him as a friend or whatever)

(e.g. if I search on a guy named "EyeTurnRed", I find exactly one hit: http://sc2ranks.com/eu/1011601/EyeTurnRed but what's his character code?)

EDIT: hold that thought they must have changed it this way as well just to make it clearer what i used to do , not 4 days ago, was search on Google: "nickname" starcraft 2 profile then click on the battle.net link and then click on view posts and it would search battle.net "nickname"#"friendcode" and thats it

I can find player profiles, no problem. I just can't find their character code, which I'd need to add someone as a friend. But after not including any search feature on bnet, it appears Blizzard has made even this feature impossible
