Hey everyone...
Just wondering if anyone plays this game at all. It is a turn based WW2 strategy game. Just trying to find some people to play with online. You can download the game and the online client for free here: http://www.ewarzone.com/aa.html
If you play/have played and would like to join me, leave a reply here. Thanks.

I've played the board game from the mid 80's a few times. I assume this is just a port to PC. Tried to play online once, but it was so hard to see what was going on while zoomed in on 1/5 of the world instead of having it all infront of you on a table.

I have the board game right next to me on a shelf, but due to the fact that all of my friends never wanted to play, I've never been able to really learn the game. Now it's just collecting dust . I don't particularly want to start playing now, I just wanted to play with friends, years ago....

We play with this one guy and every time we always end up complaining about how crap and random the game is by round 2. Then we start talking about how we would redesign the game by round 3. And then someone rolls heavy bombers and kills everything.

absolute awesome and epic game. Unfortunately, takes like 3 hours to set up and 4 hours to play. Also, this game makes me rage as i watch my countries fall or my rolls fail. And my dice ALWAYS fail me.
Also, theres the whole, oh cool, mass tanks! Gotta roll 40 dice! But still, fun game :-p.

I love this game, wish i could play it

This is based off of a 1998 pc game adaptation of the board game. Interestingly enough I have two unopened copies of the original 1998 game, which apparently are hard to come by these days, or so I have read. I will hold on to them they may be worth something some day. Interesting how I came across them, earlier this year I found them in a bargain bin at a Staples for something like less than $5 each. I remember having read that they were somewhat rare online and so I picked them up. Interesting to find a game at a retail store that went out of print 11 years ago. I really wonder how long that store had been carrying those two copies.

I am about to try the online version. I arrange my life so that I randomly look at my stuff , and man. I walk by my revised and original board game and dahm... Im 33 , havnt played since 25. The game was the best bc it was my 4 best friends/bandmates and we used the whole pool table as our battemap. The game took 6 hours and we continued the following night. This game changed my life circa 14 and I still walk by it in my travels and wish someone still played .... First post, many more to come. Mark
