Lol it was hidden for me, as is American psycho lmao, guess I've been living under a rock. Guess I could recommend "Dancer in the dark" (Lars von Trier). A very emotional film, if your into that kind of film (not IP MAN kick ass emotions!). Warning, if you do watch this film, make sure you are alone in the house, or it could get really ugly.

Jim Jarmusch -- Dead Man (1995) A real hidden gem by anyone's definition. Crispin Glover cameo is also a winner. Lars von Trier -- Dancer in the Dark (2000) Extremely sad (even the hardest will tear up at this), but beautiful. Incredible soundtrack as well. Michael Haneke -- Caché (2005) Probably my favorite Haneke film, along with The Piano Teacher Hsiao-hsien Hou -- Zui hao de shi guang AKA Three Times (2005) Saw this at a film festival and was pleasantly surprised. If you like Asian films, I recommend. Werner Herzog -- Grizzly Man (2005) Classic Herzog doc. More recently... Banksy -- Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010) So much fun, a real prank film

It's kinda a shame, everyone hates Uwe Boll movies, ah well I guess he deserves most of the hate, but this movie was pure gold. I've not really seen anything like this, but there are so many good quotes and scenes, I kinda want to see it again. In Bruges Didn't expect that much when I saw it, but it completely blew me away. It starts a bit slow, but is filled with so much black humor and memorable quotes, it was definitely worth buying the DVD.

Thanks OP and Thread! +100! I just came in here in the middle of this movie to say: WATCH THIS. Lucky for me, I was patient enough to search for it first. Awesome, awesome movie. A bit long but not boring at all. I love it. And because it's been mentioned here, I'll check out a lot more movies in this thread. Thank you TL!

I guess it doesnt fail to evoke emotion tho, but I'd have to recommend people to not watch this ^^ This movie was... I don't even know how to put it in words lol, and I just got finished watching it. I guess you could give it a try.

Best movie of 2008 by far though dwarfed by twilight's marketting so it couldn't really hit it big. Edit: Oh and America is reproducing it......as "let me in"......the original is the best though. Very classy.
