My PvT revolves around Robo to HT play, so I have been around the block when it comes to HTs against terran, lol.
I always like to bitch about HTs being slow, constantly yelling at my computer "1A FASTER YOU RETARDS". I mean, they ARE gateway units, why don't they move as fast as zealots?
Anyways, I found out exactly why blizzard did this. I was playing a terran on metalopolis and I 1A'd like a scrub to his nat, and the HTs were obviously the fat kids at the back of the 1a limbo line as usual. This guy decides to EMP every last one of my units and I'm like FUUUUUU, until the HTs finally decide to arrive and are at full energy and storm his army to death, gg.
Pretty useless blog, just wondering if any of you have been blessed by the slow HT move speed xD

im used to it from sc1. The only problem with HTs i have is they blend in with the ball and look like zealots and its hard to find them

|
Lol, HTs sort of just... die o_o

i spent the whole first two paragraphs thinking you were talking about broodwar goddamit.
either use a warp prism or proxy a pylon, and then basically it's just paying attention to your units. feedback their ghosts and none of your units will get emp'd.

Shouldn't you hotkey them whenever possible?

No they go slow so when the idiot protoss goes 1a2a3a they lag at the back and I snipe 6 temps with mutas.

The only problem with HTs i have is they blend in with the ball and look like zealots and its hard to find them I recently developed a nifty micro trick. I call it Hurricaning because I made it and it involves storms (clever I know). Anyway what you need to do is while you have all of your army selected (this is after hotkeying it to 1 obv), you hold ctrl and left click on the portrait of the HTs. This lets you select all of the HTs in your army and only them. After that you keep holding ctrl and hit the "2" key, it's right next to the "1" you're using for your army. Then after you hit 1a and left click to the guys base and are watching the fight you can press "2" and then "t" (the "t" key is right next to the "r" key, but if you're like me and don't know where the "r" key is just know that it is right three up one from the "a' key). Now you just click on the guys army and one of your HTs will cast storm. It's surprisingly effective, especially once you master it and can press t and left click really fast because you can have more of your HTs casting storm quicker.
999 diamond P btw. Hope it helped

Autocasting is simply ridiculous... masses of storms are just too easy to create now.

I dont really think you are the first doing that. Many BW and War3 gamers already are used to use at least 3 hotkeys for troops, a lot of them will look like this 1=melee 2=range 3=special units/spellcasters. So, really theres nothing new about "Hurricaning"
EDIT: I just saw your post count, now im positive your just joking around... right?

So you basically assign HTs to hotkey 2. Sounds.. Hurricating

I really hate storms right now. It's really all my fault because my computer sucks so badly...so when Toss gets 5 High Templar and autocast, my computer starts slowing down and I can't micro anymore.
I liked it when autocasting didn't exist. xD

I think I read it...but I just forgot about it afterwards...and then I saw the word autocasting and then I reacted by moaning to myself.
