Doesn't seem like a plan the mafia would fall for. To me, it sounds like "Let kill the people who 'seem' skummy"

YESSSSSSSSSSS game on dw guise i wont play so bad this time But it is RVS time which is going to be pretty annoying

waits for a while
People in XXVIII remarked we have three choices on the first day: 1) Kill someone using a RNG (I'm against this, what if we kill a blue role? That would suck if we lose a DT) 2) Kill someone inactive/dumb (Benefits: Inactive people don't help us. Problem: It's seems more likely that an inactive person is town) 3) Kill someone who seems like Scum. (Problem: never works)
First day is always difficult. Generally people go for option 2 because it promotes discussion and promotes people actually posting in the thread. That gives us more to work with, and gets people in the habit of regularly posting. Plus, town can afford to lose a couple inactive, dumb townies this early in the game.

Nono let me show you how mafiascum does it
Vote BrownBear Because I felt like it
|
EBWOP
Whoops right, voting thread. I guess that kinda screws up the whole RVS thing.
|
GRR OMG I AM ANGRY VOTE YOUNGMINNI
|
But seriously, why you vote for me? I've been way more active than most of the players in this game.
|
The idea is to put 'pressure' on people and judge reactions blah blah since we have nothing to go by. It's the Random Vote Stage where you literally vote for anyone... But I don't think it works if there's a separate voting thread. :D
|
I say we start off by lynching the inactives. I for one will be lynching a person who I think is inactive.
Doesn't mean I neccesarily think they're mafia, but at the very least like youngmini said above me it will pressure everyone to talk or be suspected. More talking=more information for us which =better for town.
|
I like this idea, but I think we should wait at least a few more hours or so. Right now, there's essentially only 4 of us posting (and I'm posting from work lol)

Yeah that's why I'm not voting yet n.n.
So people, start talking!

Puts a funny picture to increase my post count. I don't want to be a probe forever! And I don't want to die, I'm new and I don't know anyone :S
+ Show Spoiler +
(Btw, when does this probe thingy go away, 1000?)

Darn can't edit. I'd like it to look like this

Scum play, trying to distract us with a funny picture so that we get off the scent of RED scum =]

Chaoser says: "Let's go accuse people being scum on the first day so we can kill a poor random townie!"
Translation: Chaoser says: "Hi! I'm mafia, kill me!"
|
Also voting BrownBear cuz' I feel like.
|
No I think he was trying to say "Hi! LSB's mafia, kill him!"
|
in all likelihood the scummy players haven't posted yet unless it's someone like brownbear who knows it's ok to. noob scum will be like "what should i say?" as opposed to just playing.

agreed. Probably deciding who's GF, making forum or IRC chat, or just plotting in general. PLOTTING I SAY!!!!!!!!
Still, even if I get mafia vibes off LSB(which I do) I highly urge everyone not to vote for him. Right now we have a suspect, and it would be best to not vote him as of yet. Maybe day 2, when we have more evidence. But I still feel we should be getting the inactives to talk

Lol so we're going to randomly kill someone using mob mentality and activity as a fire starter. Good idea for town unity.
