So me and my girlfriend of 2 1/2 years broke up about 3 weeks ago.
We were deeply in love for most of the relationship, and just recently in the last 4 months or so started having problems which eventually led to us breaking up. It was hard on both of us but eventually she started to move on.
My problem is that I thought I would be able to move on, but after hours and nights of self introspection I have realized how much I love her and want her back. I have never been more certain of anything in my life. I will get her back or at least try until I get a restraining order put against me.
I will stop at nothing to get her back and I'm gonna let her know it.
I have no idea how any of this will turn out but I will keep you guys updated with at least another blog or two.
Wish me luck
After a lot of s

Good luck man
I know exactly how you feel right now.

Ironically enough, telling her that and then pursuing it will push her further away from you.

Best of luck! I sure hope that restraining order is merely a comedic/dramatic touch, and not an actual possibility. =P

Okay upon further inspection you're not even 22 yet! You're still relatively young and I hope this isn't a case of one-itis.
It really is hard to swallow, but sometimes strangers looking in from the outside can analyze this better because of the detachment of feelings. Sure she may have been perfect for you, but anyone who is your girlfriend has to be, otherwise you wouldn't choose her. I personally think you should experiment more with other girlfriends, then come back and decide if what you really lost is worth getting a restraining order over. I'm willing to bet you won't care by then. But right now you do So try and find things to occupy your mind and go out and find other women.
But please, don't tell her that you will do whatever it takes to get her back. Women feed off that shit and it doesn't help your case in showing that you're someone worth spending the rest of their lives with. It just sounds clingy and needy From her perspective, why should she bother with someone who is inferior to her, who needs her more than she needs them?
The best thing to do would actually be to show her that you and your genes are better and in demand (by having another girlfriend) and then it will be her who realizes that she was the one who made the mistake. But really, go out and experiment, try different things, meet different people. And play some BW...and maybe a little SC2 even though that blows

Being decisive is super hawt.

yeah dude, you just need a little more time. move on buddy. I am a strong believer in the idea that couples who break up and get back together immediately are just doomed. You've already come to the conclusion that its not going to work right now, and if you try to do it all over again whats stopping it from happening again.

This is the best (and possibly only) way you are gonna get her back.

Just dont be one of those guys I hear about. "Guy threatens ex girlfriend with gun to get her back".
|
at first i thought this is gonna be about your friends marie juan and anna :D
looks like chemicals fuckt you pretty hard I don't know anything about you, but i can tell you, there is always another girl :D just don't get all suicidal if you can't get her back.

Ialso thought this was going to be about mary jane.. disappointed. Nonetheless, sounds to me like this was your first love.. and it broke your heart. Same thing happened to me. I tried to get her back and did... then lost her again because we just werent compatible in the long run due to different aspiration and friends, etc.
I would suggest you give up on a failed relationship.
If you cant live without this broad then you don't deserve her and she shouldn't want you.
When you can understand the previous sentence then you will have passed the test and hopefully found the transcendence needed to live your life without something that, at present, seem necessary to your happiness.

I can see why this isn't on NH
|
This is all imo and obviously not a fact but..yeah same thing happened to me. You'll just end up with more pain and re-opening the wound and feeling rejected again..and again, and again. And even if you do get back together it'll be on the premise that you had to convince her to take you back and it probably won't work out. But you know, you gotta do what you gotta do. Logic doesn't usually help in these things till its over with, and you're gonna do what your heart wants. I don't blame you.

Good luck, but I don't think it's a good idea. If you guys could have worked it out, you would have already =/
Good luck anyway

That's why the divorce rate is so high. This type of thinking. Joking. Or am I.

Think about why you two broke up and ask if it will happen again. Consider the benefits of being a single man again.
