Some of you may remember the blog I made announcing the Terror Australis [TA] Clan In-House ProLeague (TPL or TAPL) based on the Korean PL but between our D to C rank Australian clan members. Well it now reaches the playoffs just as the Korean competition that inspired it is and the clan founder did a write-up about the playoffs which I thought is worth reproducing here as we might have a stream so you can see some D to C rank players in action!

After ten weeks of bloody warfare the fight for the Australis sector is still unresolved. New forces have emerged as others have abandoned their cause but the nature of the conflict never changes. However, every Great War needs its final battle and thus the six alliances enter the fray this coming week with redoubled fervor and everything at stake. Only three will survive to fight it out for the prize.
The playoffs are upon us! For those of you who are in the dark about the format they are double set and the losing team will be eliminated. A super ace match will be played if the teams go 1-1.

Featured Match: TKA vs NFI
This matchup features the Cinderella story of a team that did not score its first win until week 5. They lived up to their acronym for much of the early stages as they constantly failed to bring their star player Lost to the ace match. However, after some shady recruiting by Big Del the team tore through the remainder of the competition only to be ironically stymied by Burnt Toast in week 10. Their 5th seed is surprising given that they have a 1-1 record against every team in the league.
TKA is another team that has endured much hardship. They struggled to stay afloat early on with [TA]Freewin forcing them to 2-1 everyweek just to force an ace. Their desperate search for a reliable replacement found another Zerg in the formidable Peanut. How they ended up at #2 seed at the end of the regular season has everything to do with their captain and league MVP Harlekuin. The only question for TKA is if they overworked their star player and has he got what it takes to bring down the B- TvZ of NFI’s Ace, Spud.
The lineups are tight and Team Kick Ass could well be looking at multiple ace matches with only Zergs to throw into the gaping maw of Spud’s monstrous TvZ.
Notable matchups:
deL (1-7) vs Hickz (2-7)
Will Del bring the thunder or is Hickz going back to Streetfighter?
This double header is of pivotal importance to both teams and anything could happen. Del is a complete wildcard and he is random to boot. The Victorian Zerg Hickz is predicting something gay from his illustrious opponent and has no idea how to prepare. Can one of the league’s most improved players take out the slumping NFI captain? Toss a coin for this matchup, I have no clue so I'll just go with the beard.
Predictions: deL 2-0 Hickz
Spud (8-1) vs Harlekuin (12-3)
Spud vs Stud
Spud aka Karnivool’s TvZ is characterized by unrelenting macro and insane mid->late game multitask that never gives the zerg a chance to set the tempo. The last time these two met was week 8 and Spud won emphatically over an ill-prepared Harlekuin who went aling-> muta all-in. Harle will have to mix it up once again with far better execution if he is to carry his team further into the playoffs. The map should favour Harlekuin somewhat at least in the muta stage (one of his strengths) as the close air distance and natural ridge make defending with bio more difficult than normal. Expect to see this match repeated at least once as TKA is notorious for forcing ace matches (Harle has played 6 so far). This is TAPL’s Flash vs Effort and I hope to see all of their matches casted.
Predictions: Spud 1-0 Harlekuin
Lost (7-3) vs Noodle (5-5)
Jewfro 'Toss vs The Ginger IdrA
Lost is a four time inhouse tourney winner and Queensland protoss of macro fame. Noodle is an enigmatic Victorian Zerg known for his 2v2 and ladder allergy. Commonly referred to as “the Dong” or "Noodledong" he has had a solid season for TKA despite a shaky start. Neither are currently active on the 1v1 ladder but in his typical Smace-inspired gamesmanship Noodle is already feigning defeat, saying that he will lose whilst endeavouring to give Lost and his fangirls a Good Game.
Predictions: Noodle 1-0 LoSt
Thanks to Scarecrow for the write-up & Del for the epic graphics!
